We had a pleasant stay here in Red Lantern House. The place is very unique and China-esque. It's actually a cultural experience in a way because you get to feel how to live in a Hutong. The staff speaks relatively good English and are very...More
Would definitely stay here again, there are two buildings, the main one looked really atmospheric and fun (it had the dorms in so we didn't get to stay there) instead we were round the corner in the single storey courtyard based hostel, which was clean...More
Location is nice, worthwhile discovering the surroundings and hutongs. difficult to find, facilitiies not teh best ones anymore and very basic. When I went last December though (which is low season), I booked about three weeks ahead of time and it was no problem...there were still plenty of rooms available when I was staying there.
They're pretty good about responding to emails, so you can try contacting them to be sure. It's a great place, hope you enjoy!

I would imagine they would do this, just email them and ask. We paid them to pick us up at the airport at about 8-9pm I think, I can't remember how much but it was a rate for the pick up plus a small fee to pay for the driver's parking ticket. Our plane was late but they had the flight details and knew when to be there. Enjoy China!
