If you're after a budget room in Beijing, this fits the bill. It's pretty clean, there are shops and restaurants nearby for food, the aircon works well and there's even a water dispenser in the room, very useful. You need a taxi or bus to get around (having tried both, the former is a lot simpler than the latter if...

Visited during G Adventures Tour First impressions - Got a metered taxi from airport, for around 120 Yuan. Driver didnt know where it was so he rang them using my info. Nice from outside, however lobby had NO seating and had nothing much going on. Staff spoken little English, just took my passport and documents, gave me room key and...

So I stayed here for my first 4 nights in China. I got a taxi from the airport and the taxi driver knew where it was. The journey took about 45 mins to an hour and the cost was reasonable for a metered taxi. Be careful as there are lots of people at the airport offering taxis for extortianate prices....

We stayed here on the first night of joining our tour. Average rooms, bit tired and a little dated but clean enough with comfortable bed. Good for a few nights. We didn't have breakfast or dinner so couldn't comment on that. Great restaurant across the road. Good location too, taxis from train station and forbidden city area didn't cost us...

We came here to join a tour group. Our room was tidy, clean and airy (although once we moved the beds together you could see lots of dust where the bed had been). We were given a toothbrush and pair of slippers each day, but wifi was only available in the reception area where seating was limited. We had an...

This place is quite adequate for a short stay. The rooms are basic but have everything that is needed. The location is fine, about 15 minutes from the temple of heaven park by walking. The street also seemed safe at night with local street food at night availiable or beer. Shops opposite include a bakery and fruit shops.

This hotel chain is ideal when wanting to keep hotel bills low! I had used this chain a few years ago when I found them a wonderful value for money and they still are however this particular one we found to be grubby and in need of a spruce up. The staff were very good with at least one person...

With my Home Inn Qianmen cancelled because they couldn't contact me. They were suppose to keep my confirmation till 6pm though. I booked what Home Inn they recommended. The jolly taxi driver lifted our spirit as we travelled to our unknown area then. As we got out I saw various restaurants and bus stops. It was about 6.30pm and they...
