Hidden in the narrow streets of a Hutong, the hotel features 14 guestrooms, a nice courtyard, tiny garden and a breakfast room. It has authentic feel, friendly service, however there are some things to keep in mind if you decide to stay: first of all, not every taxi driver agrees to take you there. The streets in the hutong are...

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The room is clean, quiet and the bed is very comfort. It is situated within a Hutong which is quiet, an island of peace within the busy areas around. The staff is helpful and supportive, with good tips and advice. One suggestion is to extend the variety of food for breakfast – if...

The hotel does have traditional charm, although it is in desperate need of refurbishment. The paint work and general upkeep of the hotel is very tired. The room is also dark. Breakfast is good, nice yoghurt and some traditional Chinese cuisine. Staff were nice, not overly friendly but were able to help if needed and understood English. The location is...

Location is great, close to lots of the attractions, close to subway station which is very convenient. Breakfast and Wifi is free of charge, they also provide free parking. Garden Area is pretty nice to hang out with friends and family.

Regarding the location, it has embraced the most remarkable tourism sites and the most authentic Beijing culture. The well-decorated room and acceptable room rates have combined to the point of providing the best experience and customer satisfaction. Whenver asked, the service demonstrated world-class level of quality and extremely well patience. Overall, this hotel explained what a real Beijing hotel is.

We spent 3 nights there, apart from the fact that the hotel is very difficult to find, and taxis won't take you there, the hotel is very nice, very charming. The room was not too cold, even though it was freezing outside, and was decorated with taste. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast very good and filling. Would...

Great room, spacious enough, very clean, with a great bathroom and shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were great. Overall, compared to other places we stayed in Beijing, I would have expected more for the high price.

We had a double room and it was great, lovely and cosy in December. Staff were really great, very nice and helpful and couldn't fault them. There is a great dining area on the roof in a glazed roof garden. Breakfast was basic but nice. Purchased food and drink (wine and coffee) during the day/evening was really quite expensive though....

The suite was beautiful and the grounds were lovely. I loved the staff. They were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to a metro station and walkable to Forbidden City ( we walked there in December... brrr). Our taxi driver had a hard time finding this place. It's located in a super narrow alley way that is hard to drive through....

Staying in this quaint hotel in a small narrow hutong street was such a pleasant experience. The room was clean comfortable and great care was taken to the details. Breakfast in the upper room extension was a welcoming and refreshing experience. Overall great experience.

“Other reviewers have mentioned that the rooms were small but this was not a bad thing - we had enough room for all of our things in a standard room and it was perfect for our needs. There areas lounge areas that are quiet where you can go if you want to relax outside of the room.”
