Locations good, rooms and brekky are ok. But their biggest letdown are the staff, especially at reception. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Wifi doesn't work at all anywhere in the hotel and nobody could help - reception in fact dismissive and tried to ignore me altogether! From an external perspective this is a good hotel but you'll feel let down once you're...

The problem here is that the beds are like sleeping on concrete The Chinese believe its good for your back but the mattresses are literally rock hard The corner has easy bus transfers all over. The metro is right at the corner as well There is a great dim sum restaurant across the street and many restaurants nearby. Good location...

we stayed as part of a G adventures tour and it turned out to be the best hotel of the trip. Not saying much sadly. Check in was an ordeal. there was no air conditioning at all in our room. No hot water for the first 2 days and a cabbage smelling bathroom, lovely! The in house restaurant was a...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights while passing through Bejing, it was clean and the staff were very friendly. My room was comfortable but a little on the small side. I know I shouldn't complain but the room was boiling and the aircon didn't work. The beds were comfortable, a little on the hard side (seems to be...

You're here for the start of your fantastic G Adventures tour. Awesome! You'll probably have fun. If you're arriving after midnight and taking the airport bus, don't expect to find the hotel. It will leave you at the train station which is loud and full of people who can't help. Don't try to walk; take a taxi. You'll get lost...

The hotel is easily accessible by metro. Right on a busy corner, that is why I was surprised how quiet the room was so great sleeps. Many restaurant options to choose from in the area as well as shopping

We also stayed as part of a G Adventures tour. Must have stayed in one of the only rooms that had no been refurbished. Room was dated but location was very good. Once you pluck up the courage to try and cross the roads its good to go out exploring. Breakfast in the restaurant was ok. Decor in 'Maxims' restaurant...

Stayed for a couple of days with g-adventures. As this was our first hotel it needed to be easy to find and it was. Right next to the metro, line 2. A few stops on the bus to Tiananmen square. Didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there was a dumpling booth just round the corner that spoke adequate English...

Stayed here for 3 nights during a trip with G Adventures. The hotel is clean and has a satisfying standard. It's not a luxury hotel, but to stay for a couple of days it's perfect. It's right next to the main train station in Beijing, so if you're traveling further or arriving by train it's a good choice. Western toilets...

The hotel is a little outdated but it still feels quite fancy. The rooms are a good size and the shower was lovely and refreshing! The location is great with a supermarket being less than a five minute walk away and a delicious bakery about three minutes away. Great base for exploring the main sights of Beijing.
