We stayed in the Cityview for six nights having it bought a flights + hotel package form BA. From the time we arrived we knew we would like the Cityview because of its bustling, busy lobby area with guests from all over the world milling around. Our 13th floor room was designated as a premier room and so was reasonably... More

Centrally located clean hotel however rooms are dated and staff are brusque and unfriendly. We had an upgraded room which was spacious. Our double room had 2 beds pushed together and the furniture rearranged. The bathroom was small but ok and the shower was fantastically powerful and hot. Food was good in the bar area and the Cantonese Restaurant was... More

I spent alot of time on Trip Advisor reviewing holets & we picked the Cityview because of the mostly good reviews. We had 4 double rooms booked for 8 nights. Hotel is in good location and good connectivity. It is accessible via free hotel shuttle bus service to & from Airport and Yau Me Tai MTR Station is just 2 minutes walk away. Rooms are of decent sizes and clean. However, decor is a bit dated and beds a bit small. Service is acceptable.

This hotel ticked all the boxes, great location, clean, spacious, air cond was working well, clean bedsheets and toilet. I didn't pay much for it, so I expected something worst after spending a few days of nightmare in a more expensive hotel (Regal Kowloon), but it turned out really well. Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
