I chose a premier room and it was a very good size for a HK Hotel room. It had two armchairs and a coffeee table. The decor was slightly shabby but the amenities were good. Feather duvet on the bed and soft pillows. The only problem was the very hard bed. I have yet to find a bed in Asia...

This hotel ticked all the boxes, great location, clean, spacious, air cond was working well, clean bedsheets and toilet. I didn't pay much for it, so I expected something worst after spending a few days of nightmare in a more expensive hotel (Regal Kowloon), but it turned out really well. I will definitely come back again. The staff at reception...

Spent a day at the above mentioned hotel and must say that it was very enjoyable. Rooms were nice. Comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. Clean and well equipped toilet. Excellent sleep quality. Basically everything one would expect from a 5 star hotel. The buffet dinner was also very good and value for money. Tasty food. Great service. Fairly centrally located....

Had initially booked a superior room which turned out to be decidedly inferior, no room to swing a cat, a bathroom in need of urgent attention and the size of a small cubicle and, despite asking for a double bed and non smoking on booking the room had two singles and one could have coughed all night from the smell...

Staff and levels of service and comfort were excellent after we changed rooms because of renovation work in rooms below. The spa facilities were shared with the YMCA next door. Though not central had good bus connections and some interesting bars & restaurants in the surrounding streets.

Stayed there for a couple of nights. Room is small, but understand that Hotels in Hong Kong are quite expensive. Toilet is too small for big size guy like me. Hardly can turn around. One thing good of this hotel is the strategic location. Few steps to the MRT station and also to Mongkok. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

We arrived and were told we had been upgraded to a superior room, which we thought was pretty cool. Dont know if we would want to have been in any less though. The room was comfortable, and clean enough, but not very large. Location was excellent, front counter staff helpful in letting us know that we would be better doing...

Stayed here a couple nights with my wife while visiting Hong Kong in December 2012. Finally getting to a review. I have to say that I'm only writing this review to say how great the customer service was! There are two major Pros for this hotel; 1) Customer Service that we received was top notch. The front desk staff was...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
