Budgeting… nice and clean. Good for frequent flyer with light carry luggage. Since the drop off and pickup is not that convenient. Good residential area, with distance to the subway system. But the overall convenience is not bad.

We stayed for few months already and we love to continue stay. Generally Summit View is very good for people who like silent and clean. Housekeeping always provide good service except the maid sometimes talk loudly like market and knocked the door very early in the morning. Reception always respond very quick and remember who the guest is. Elaine is very nice and helpful when we asked for assistance. Karen is polite but too silent. Ken is very experienced and knowledgeable. Adrian is always very hardworking and busy in midnight. Engineering staff at night is hard to communicate and like the worker only work in the morning.No comment for security because seldom see. Maybe in casual wear? We found there are some changes during the COVID-19. Pros: 1) Toilet is locked now and avoid outside people to enter. 2) Computer detect thermometer installed to check people 3) Room rate is very reasonable for this quality Cons: 1) WIFI slower than before 2) More smoke guest than before 3) Many tattoo guys and noisy people stay than before We think maybe the price now is very cheap so many strange people book room here for party or eating place or office. Although we are also benieft by cheap price, but the boss should think about to keep the standard rather than occupancy, otherwise Summit View will ruin by these weird guests. We think we will accept a bit increase price to keep the standard and make away the suspect bad people.Anyway Summit View is a very good place to stay and there are many yummy restaurant near around.…

I stayed in Summit View during March and April as my apartment is under renovation. I chose Summit View is due to proximity to my apartment. This hotel was renovated about 1 year ago, it's clean and tidy, and it's really value for monty for a 2-month stay. In terms of proximity, it's just 10 minutes walk to subway. The only drawback is the restaurant has been closed for business; yet there are quite a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, so that's not a problem.

It is a nice hotel. It was very cost effective compare to other hotels we looked at in Hong Kong. Even though the price was low quality was good. There are a lot of restaurants and bakeries around the hotel so food is not a problem. It is around 15 min walk to Mong kok MTR station. Would definitely go back.

The location is good, quiet and many convenient stores, restaurants and bakeries around the area. Bus stops are close by within minutes of walking distance; MTR stations are about 15-20 minutes walking distance also. The room was clean, the bed was firm and staff are very friendly. My only complaints would be: only one chair available for sitting in the room between the two guests and the mirror in the bathroom is not lighted. Also, the hotel is on a hill, beware if you have problem walking uphill.

Basic hotel but very comfortable and clean. I asked for a double bed in my booking and they were nice enough to honour my request. They have a ‘Summit Cafe’ downstairs where you can get breakfast at a reasonable price. Thé breakfast was very nice. There isn’t any facilities at the hotel and it is around 10-15 walk from Mongkok metro station depending on how fast you walk which is the only downside. But other than that it’s great.

Overall, the stay in Summit view was nice. Compared to other period properties, this place offers a neat clean room with an affordable price. Since the hotel is surrounded by local schools and library as a residential area, it's serene and safe town for family and female only travelers. This hotel is located in the middle of Yau ma tei and Mongkok station, so if you don't mind walking 10-15 mins to the transit it's perfectly fine but for those who prefer hotels right next to the MTR might not like it. Last, this place is very close to Ladies night market (10-15 mins walk) which seems to be quite popular to both tourists and HK residents. The streets are literally packed with crowds over the weekend nights, so be aware of your belongings and stay together with your companies. The market has some delicious dessert stalls and restaurants to enjoy as well. If you are for the local atmosphere and experience, Summit view is a great place to stay !…

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel (stayed there for 6 nights: there is just so much to do and see in Hong Kong!!) Location wise you are 15 mins away from the subway so it’s a bit of a walk. But there is so much to do around the area, we loved the proximity to Mong Kok and also Sham Sui Po. Take a stroll down ladies market at night. Or explore the bird and flower market during the day. There were days where we almost just exclusively walked around. We almost forgot that the Hong Kong island existed on the other side of the water. Now for the hotel, the rooms are big and comfortable. We slept fairly well but we’re at first annoyed by the beeping sound of the elevator doors closing. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. Note however that our shower had a drain issue, towards the end of our stay, and the water would back up when showering. We did not try the restaurant since there are so many within the near vicinity. Also lots of delicious Chinese bakeries nearby. Overall very happy with our stay, I would stay again.…

The location of the hotel is ok if you are comfortable with the metro system in HK. The room I had was descent sized and clean. I visited in January and like most apartments in this area, it didn’t have heat. My wife and I were cold. The hotel gave us a space heater. The bathroom smelled like a sewer. The beds are firm bu tnot hard. I would stay here again but only in the summer and definitely in another room. Hopefully the plumbing is better.
