The Upper house is really really an amazing place. Visiting HK for 15yrs but this was the first time here. The service, the friendly staff ( Edward thanks for everything ) The nice people in the breakfast, The great restaurant upstairs ( chef Cary and his team are top ) The rooms are another level, especially for HK.. the bath.. the bed! For me, there will be only 1 hotel from now on, I can't wait to stay again en be there so good it was!

The Upper House Hong Kong is located on the upper floors of a high-rise building on top of the luxurious Pacific Place mall, which is diectly connected to the Admiralty MTR station as well as Hong Kong Park. This is very convenient on the one hand, its surroundings are pretty serene on the other hand. What more could you wish for locationwise? Even though our arrival was not too pleasant in the first place with bellmen neither greeting nor helping with the luggage, our upgrade to an Upper Suite was very generous, and Paul's welcome tour, as well as the generous welcome drinks and gifts quickly let us forget. The Suite in the most beautiful design imaginable and with stunning views of Victoria Harbour was just unforgettable - beyond words. Being one of the original André Fu designs, the optical appeal of the room exquisitely corresponded with our design taste. Also the bathroom with its amazing bathtub, rain shower and lovely amenities was amazing. Sometimes the beauty of the room made it hard to even leave it at all. Even more tempting to "stay inside": the complimentary minibar filled with a whole lot of beer and soft drinks. Minor criticism must be expressed about the rather uncomfortable bed and lacks of cleanliness in some parts of the room. Nonetheless, service, be it via phone or at the door (thank you so much for all the lovely chats and great tipps, Janice!!!), was a dream. At breakfast, proactive service and friendliness could be improved though, whereas the quality of food and beverages was excellent. The same was true for our in-room lunch. For our goodbye, a complimentary ride to Hong Kong station was arranged by Lewis proactively, such a great gesture! In total, the spa-like room atmosphere, the amazing décor and service, as well as incredible views convinced us even more than six years ago, when we first spent some nights at Upper House. Can’t fault anything. Started with a friendly airport pickup, a continued warm welcome when I arrived. Went straight up the lift where I got a tour of the spectacular room. Had dinner at the restaurant on the top floor and breakfast the next day. Never seen a “perfect” omelet in my life! Definitely will be back to stay longer All hotel staff were superb! What an experience! Whether you are travelling to business or pleasure - a stay in the world renowned Upper House is a must! The staff are incredible - from the moment we arrived to the time we checkout out we could not have asked for anything else! Kristina Snaith-Lense and her excellent team of Steph Shiu, Paul Stanton and Sharon and Sabrina could not have done any more for us! Even though we were here on business, I will certainly be looking to return on holiday to experience this hotel once again. The rooms have the best view in Hong Kong, and the service and sky line view from the Salisterra Bar is spectacular! Try and have a cocktail or two if you can! Afternoon tea up there was also exquisite! Finally, the room itself was exceptional - 5 star and luxury personified - words would not do this level of luxury justice! All in all, a wonderful experience, and one I would recommend to anyone lucky enough to be in Hong Kong. Once again, congratulations to Kristina, Steph , Paul and all the team in The Upper House! There's no place like The Upper House. It's such a stylish and serene home away from home. My light-flooded, beyond-spacious suite really blew my mind. It was beautifully outfitted in a warmly minimalist style. I can't even begin to describe those cinematic skyline/harbor/Peak views! I never wanted to get out of that perfect bed. (I need to know who makes that cloud-like comforter!) The spa-like bathrooms are divine, with gigantic rain showers and fabulous bath amenities. Also, I'm suddenly a bathtub person -- that's one spectacular bathtub. Loved the massive, comfy couch, the collection of coffee table books, the artwork, and the list goes on. Oh, and the complimentary mini-bar made my jetlagged body very happy. Their new Mediterranean restaurant, Salisterra, is downright fabulous with really great vibes, really great views, and delicious food. I loved the Hong Kong-style French toast for breakfast and the to-die-for gnocchi with mushrooms for dinner. Tip: don't skip dessert. All who work here are very friendly. I adore staying at The Upper House. We stayed for a birthday staycation, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with balloons, a cake, and snack supplies for our movie night in the room. The staff are super attentive, the rooms are gorgeous, and if you're a bath person, they'll love their big, statement tubs. As far as luxury stays in HK go, The Upper House takes the cake.

What a surprise! Back in Hong Kong after a 4 year break and only one night at the Upper House and despite that brief layover we were made to feel so special. Edward Tang remembered our last visit and made this one so special. From greeting us on arrival, to cakes and birthday celebrations in the room and helping us with everything in between, our experience at the Upper House was both exceptional and delivered with such genuine warmth. It was flooding everywhere due to black rain in Hong Kong and our house also flooded and power outage. We called Upper House and the team immediately sent us a car to pick us up and organised a room right away! They also sent us so many different amenities......... color pencils for the kids, balloons, even donuts. Cannot thank them enough!!!!!!! The room, F&B and service is excellent as always but really appreciate their fast response to our unusual request!!!

It has been a while since my last visit in January and I come back to stay and celebrate my birthday with TUH. As always, the rooms were clean, incredibly comfortable, and offered stunning views. The staff was absolutely amazing, one of their excellent staff - Angela brought me with a room tour despite they knew I was a repeated guest. Edward from the team also super friendly and professional. Everything was perfect, and they even prepared gifts and a birthday cake to celebrate my birthday in advance which make my stay even more enjoyable. Hotel is at the best location and suitable for family, couples, and business guest. Room was quiet and quality of food was good with reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting HK.
