The shared accommodation doesn't look too flash but for a few extra bucks it is worth staying in the single room which is not too bad value. Is actually better and more spacious than some of the ibis hotels and the location is pretty good

The checkin process is a bit odd. You check into the reception at the correct address, and then we were escorted to another building. We booked the double for 250 HKD, and it was worth it. Very cozy but it had a balcony! Wifi was great and it had an A/C. I would stay here again.

We booked this hostel months in advance of our trip to Hong Kong. I had googled the location and thought it was perfect. Once we got off the MTR station i spent 30 minutes walking around trying to find the place as it is so poorly signed. In fact, i don't think there was a single sign saying Comfort Hostel...

I had a single room, which I got for a good price on agoda. I saw other bad reviews but my experience was totally different. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the hot water didn't last long. Good wifi, many elecricity plugs, and a nice view into the street. Best of all it had a...

Don't waste your money on a hotel that does not give you any privacy. It has been a frequent event during my stay that some hotel staff suddenly barge into our room. They don't knock the door first before they get in. The door bell outside our room does not work, so we don't have any idea if someone wants...

So far my stay here in two nights was good, booked double private room in Agoda, easy to check in because they already list of guest so it's not hassle. Got spacious bed, not noisy area but the elevator will be a problem for you if you don't have long patience because it's small and only 2 lifts. Have wifi...

There are a few advantages of this place: The location. On the third floor of the building, in the heart of the shopping area, with the metro pretty close, a park within a walking distance. Very good stall with some delicious sui mai dumplings nearby, as well as the supermarket. The reception is 24/7, which they do not mention anywhere....

3 beds squeezed into a 7sq feet room, poor air conditioning, uncomfortable beds and stinking toilets. Rooms located on the other side of the hostel in a building were the hostel was not reponsible for. Nothing in this Comfort Hostel is comfortable to say the least.. Look further and thank me later

We supposed to stay for 3 nights ar Comfort Hostel in October 2016 but we left after the first night. Horrible room, smells like sewer in the bathroom, everything was old and dirty and it was very, very small. Don't go to this hostel if you like real 'comfort'.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
