The hostel is located on the 6th floor of a building. That's common in Hong Kong because of the limited space and the many people. The place is clean and well taken care of. I booked a double bed room. It was small! It's good enough for max 2ppl who don't have many luggage. The bathroom is tiny with the...

The place is very accessible. The building is a bit old though but it is perfect for a simple night stay if you plan to spend more time outside. The staff are very accommodating and good customer service.

Room is really clean, quite big for China standards and the price is affordable. It's all what you need. The couple who works there doesn't speak English but they are lovely and you'll can comunícate with them. They don't accept credit card, only cash.

Wonderful staff. Let me have a shower after check out and full day of sightseeing before leaving to the airport. Steps away from the Jordan metro station. Very tiny room but that's expected in Hong Kong. Shame they don't serve breakfast.

We stayed at Hang Ho for 8 nights and it was great! The room is obviously small, but we didn't have any problems with storing our backpacks under the bed and not "un-packing" My partner is 6 feet tall and he didn't have any issues really with the room or the bed, it is a small bed though! I would...

First, on our way there they contacted us re-directing us to another hostel, managed my the same people (Hang Fung hostel). The pictures online looked the same as the Hang Ho, so we didn´t care, as it was on the same street. The receptionist only spoke Chinese, not a word in English. The room is tiny, the smallest I have...

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the size and environment of our rooms cannot meet your expectations. In fact, unlike other hotels, our hostel is a small hostel run by our family members. Hong Kong is a highly crowded place such that the housings here would be relatively smaller in sizes. Wish you would find better places...

Really near the MTR practically just right across the street. Rooms are small but comfy. Guy at the reception desk was really kind and helpful but cannot understand English. Had a nice stay with a large group of friends.

The Hostel is located on the city center and 1 minute from one of the main subway stations. It is really confortable if you wanna move around the city with public transportation. The owner was adorable and he was always taking care of us and our necessities. The rooms were completely clean and perfectly organized. The only thing less good...

This hostel is not the cheapest you can get in Nathan Road but is good enough if you're traveling on a budget. They cleaned the room daily and replaced towels every other day. You have en-suite bathroom which is nice and not too small. The only downside is their attendants dont speak English. You can get a hold of them...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
