The poster signaling the "Miami Resort" has seen better days and one can barely imagine the imaginary once on it. The place offers sleeping. And probably you have a whole animal farm you share your room with. So, if you don't have to, don't do it.

Let's start with the good. If you want a water view and smell sea air, then the Miami Resort has it. Now, let's move on to why you should move on to a different property. Stayed here 3 nights and really enjoyed it . If you are looking for an alternative to Kowloon/ HK island this is the place. The resort is on the opposite side of the island to the ferry terminal. They have a booth at the terminal and if the staff member does not speak English they will give you a map...

The place is very noisy and rooms dirty but they work on refurbishing. The new rooms look ok but do not expect what they say on their website (luxury bla bla). During schools...

In Cheung Chau island, Nice room in front of the sea but for 1000HKD, you do not have the right to have towels. You are told to buy them because it is not really a hotel! Even if you spend one night in a room, it is not a hotel.... They are not thieves, they refund if you are not...
