With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. I stayed there a few weeks ago with my in-laws (68 and 80), and they were fine. Yes, there is a hill, and yes, it is a bit steep, but it's short. A young, fit person would take no more than about 30 seconds to get up it. It's also stepped on one side. As far as I know there is no other way to access the hotel, as it is in a cul-de-sac.
