When we arrived at Best Western Causeway Bay, we were in for a mild surprise that they don't accept Forex / Travel Cards as security hold. So guests who prefer not to swipe foreign credit cards are left with only option to withdraw cash from ATM and pay them. Amenities are good overall as Best western tries to provide the...

I think I am not going back to the hotel, the experience of service is really bad, desk service people seems they are angry all the time, and they are not able to give any direction. The room similar as all hotels of same category in Hong kong.

The property gets top rating for its location - 5 mins walk to Times Square and Causeway Bay MTR. There are a lot of other modes of transportation viz., bus, tram and taxis. A BIG thanks to Kenneth Kwok, Asst. Manager who responded to my email and took care of my room allocation request. I would also like to highlight...

On arrival we found the desk staff terse and wary of being engaged in conversation. Being an early flight, naturally the rooms allotted were not serviced, so we went off to explore the local area. On our return six hours later there were still problems with the rooms. Ours had been allocated to another, and our friends had non smoking...

I went for new year's Eve party. The banquet area very clean and has very pretty Chandler's. The food and service was very good. Sandy was amazing and helped us with all of our questions. We also got a room and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you to Sandy and the staff that helped to make our new years...

I stayed at the Best Western for 4 nights over New Years. As many of the other reviews say... yes.. the room is very small! But really - you don't spend THAT much time in your room when in HK! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and gave some great advice re; our activities in Hong Kong. If...

We were lucky enough to get a roof top room that had a balcony with a Jacuzzi which was a fantastic surprise after such a long journey. The staff were really helpful and kind. No problem speaking English, they were excellent. The room itself was tiny, but it didn't matter as the view and balcony made up for that in...

The location and directions are pathetic. The staff is unpleasant. We were alloted a very small room and when we asked for a change, we are asked to come back to the lobby from 32nd Floor with luggage (No bellboy) and then the receptionist took us to the same floor for another room. This was the exact same room and...

Don't expect to find any sort of luxuries in this property. However, the rooms are clean and have the basic amenities that are needed. Free toothbrush, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, in-room safe, and bottled water replenished everyday. Rooms are small, but thats standard for Hong Kong. Housekeeping is very dependable and replenish your items every time. Staff is professional, wouldn't...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
