I stayed for 5 nights, and opted for a harbour view room. The view was nice and the room was simple but well appointed. The bed was rock hard but I have come to expect that on my travels, and it doesn't bother me for...More
We booked 3 nights in this hotel, because we needed just a place to be at nights. We went sightseeing during the day and therefore the HolidayInn was good. Room was clean, staff at the reception friendly and helpful. Except the employees in the breakfast...More
The Holiday Inn Express HK Soho is a budget gem in the heart of bustling Sheung Wan on HK Island.

It is a good choice if you want to stay in Hong Kong for just 1 or 2 nights with budget. The location is convenient, which is few minutes walk from the subway station. If you travel with family I don't recommend this one, because...More
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
Yes I go up to Soho from the hotel to party all the time and come back all different hours. No worry Hong Kong is a very safe city no one will bother you. enjoy!

Standard and superior rooms are just the same size wise, but with a different view. If you want a bigger room take the suite - they have a bunch of those on the 33 floor (I think).

Hi there,
I may answer only 1st question.
Usually, when I book a room redeeming my points, hotels always provide me upgrade option to a better room. However it's a subject of room availability at the moment you check-in.
Rest of your questions better to address directly to the hotel staff over email.
Rooms usually not too large, so even if they'll allow you to check-in all family members it might be very tight.
Enjoy Hong Kong!
Cheers,
