Being only a five minute walk from the Star Ferry harbour , the hotel is well situated for getting around Hong Kong and Kowloon. Not too expensive and the rooms are very comfy with good standard of facilities, breakfast is good quality .
We understand that rooms may be small living in Hong Kong life style but to stay in this so call hotel may not suitable for many. I would say it best fit for very small body build size guy only.

We booked a double bedroom and found ourselves in a closet of a room with no windows with the smallest bathroom you could imagine. It was a bit claustrophobic. If you aren't of Asian sizes, I wouldn't consider this place at all.

I don't exactly know what child friendly means to you. If you mean that the edges or corners of tables are rounded to avoid kids hitting their head or or body parts, then it is not. The electrical outlets are safely insulated and difficult to reach for small children or toddlers. The bathroom is safe for children, but be sure to supervise the use of the hair dryer.
The MTR is about one block away. Walk a bit along Canton Road and when you see Burberry, cross the road. Burberry is at the corner of Canton and Haiphong Road. Walk the entire length of Haiphong Road. Best to walk at the left side of the road. Haiphong. When you reach the end of Haiphong, you'll be at the corner of Nathan Road and Haiphong. Look to the left. The MTR subway entrance is there.
