I really love the Regal Riverside. It is directly in inexpensive bus line from the airport. Price is good and it’s in a quiet and peaceful part of Hong Kong. My wife and I always stay here. We really like that it is close to New Town Plaza and the Sha Tin Metro stop. The rooms are exceptionally large for Hong Kong, but a bit dated.
I always turn up here when I travel to Hong Kong the rooms are clean and cheap great pool and facilities Its relative close to the subway and taxis are always available With some good restaurants near by
Pros: - Rooms are absolutely massive compared to hotels you often find on HK Island or Kowloon. - Comes with pretty much all the amenities you would want or need. - Close to Shatin and Shatin Wai MTR stations and to major bus stations. - Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. - Good views, being located next to the river, and is next to the waterfront park. Cons: - Walls are not soundproof. You will absolutely hear everything from your neighbors. - Cold water wasn't working in our shower. The hot water is scalding but when I turn it down I lose water pressure. Not a very good showering experience. - Keep finding hair in the towels. They really need to clean their washing machines. - Shower towels need to be replaced. There are loose threads coming off of them. Average: - Front desk service really robotic. Efficient but not very warm. - Rooms are dated and feeling a bit tired.…
Very fast and easy booking, price offering is reasonable. Enjoyable and very good service, there are many local good food around to enjoy. Hygenic measures are enough and make me feel safe during the stay.
Location is excellent for me since I lived in Shatin. Long stay program is great for me too. Fare is very attractive. Room service is very good. Foods of breakfast buffet and Chinese restaurant are good.
I stayed at this hotel as it is close to my work place. The front desk staff is very impatient and unfriendly. The room only changes towels once a week and I was only given two towels. Overall very poor experience
Booked a suite for my birthday, the suite is really spacious but very run down and old. On top of that, it was very HOT inside the room, 24-25 degrees! My 2yr old son was non stop sweating and could not sleep properly. I called them and they sent a fan, the ventilation got better. The view was great!
我住低層。 房間,廁所,很多小蟲飛來飛去。而且床單,棉被都有血漬和啡色像屎的漬。廁所的毛巾也有。 這些問題是我三年疫情前住過五六次都沒遇過的,以前都很正常又乾淨。所以這次重來居然遇上這樣多1,2,3星酒店才會遇到的問題,實在太令人失望。 I usually stayed in this hotel before the pandemic because it gave me a nice experience. I really didn't expect that I would have such a bad feeling this day. The rooms I stayed have many flys and bugs flying around the bathroom and window, I could easily see some dead flys stuck on the white wall and lying on the desk. Most of the front desk staff are unfriendly and impolite, especially one of the male staff who is wearing black glasses. It's actually fine cos this is HK style even u stayed in a five-star hotel in HK, u may still have to meet some staff who are not in a good mood. The bed is really terrible, the (blood?shxxit?) stains on the top of the bed and duvet cover are very obvious. I don't even through that it could happen in a 4-stars hotel. Overall services is UNACCEPTABLE AND UNEXPECTED POOR in term of hygiene, disinfection, cleanliness and service standard during my stay from 05 August 2022 to 08 August 2022. (1) Insufficient manpower is normal. Nobody answer the hotline of front desk, food & beverage, room service and etc. The front desk staff is running between front desk or concierge all the time. (2)The lift button at 12th floor was so dirty and hasn't been cleaned and sanitized for three days although I have notified the front desk and cleaning lady. It is so gross and discussing. It is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE during these pandemic period. (3) the staff called Issac at front desk is impolite when I was checking in at 05 August 2022 night. This made me feel upset. (4)The wet garbage has been sitting at lift lobby for more than one day. (5) There were mosquitos and small insects running into our room. This was crazy. …
Check- in spend around 20mins. If with on-line check in or other ways to shorten the line up time is great. Staffs at swimming pool & spa are friendly. The room is big enough but the weakness is the toilet door wood blocks fall off. Is time to repair
