The grand Hyatt HK is a great hotel if in HK. It is easy to get anywhere from either Wan Chai or Admiral MTR stations. The staff are fantastic and the rooms are really well equipped for business travellers.

We met in Hong Kong to celebrate my daughters 21st Birthday as this was a central place for our family to meet. Not only did the Hyatt fix wording on the window of our room saying 'Happy 21st Birthday', there were helium balloons, a handwritten personal birthday card and when we returned after our evening out there was a beautiful...

One of the best brunches in Hong Kong!! Big statement, but they really do deserve the title. There is a a great selection of food and drink, the setting next to the pool is beautiful and the team are so attentive! We visited for a friends birthday celebration and everyone left with the same opinion. Will definitely be back!

I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt regularly for business over the past 10+ years and have always appreciated the high quality of service, non-showily well decorated interior, good gym, and excellent breakfast and restaurants (including for room service). I used to live in HK and liked it enough to hold my 40th birthday dinner in one of the private...

I think the best way to judge a hotel is whether you feel like coming home The Grand hyatt is a well respected venue for people that enjoy luxury and comfortability, but coming to the GH puts some other sparks too it, that makes the difference. First of all the welcome is fantastic, immediately upon arrival, doesn't matter if you...

We arrived early after a long sleepless flight, and would assume a second days charge. No, please have a room early and check out the following day as arranged. We were given full access to all the facilities both days. Marvellous experience rarely experienced.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
