From the minute I pulled up in the taxi I thought this was a beautiful hotel. The initial curb appeal was warm & beautiful. This was the first time in HK so we got a Harbor view room- speechless. It was so beautiful that one half day instead of going to the pool, I took a bubble bath and stared...

We stayed here for 3 nights in November having travelled from Scotland via London. We took a taxi from the airport for approx 350 HK dollars and were greeted with good service at the check in. There was one slight confusion as the girl at the desk asked us to sign to confirm that the rates for each night were...

Dear Scotswaehae (What a great handle!) The hotel provides a free 4g mobile system, and you can bring it with you in HK, with free Internet and calls. I love this idea very much! The swimming pool, gym and bar are also very good. it is convenient to take the airport express (and shuttle bus) to the hotel.

Good overall service and environment Although the front desk did not offer me a seat while i was holding my 1.5years old sleeping baby, and kept asking me for my husband's arrival time, my credit card and checking for the room rate (which I did not ask for)

Ongoing drilling at 1230 mid nite. Called guest services but response was "I will inform the duty manager". Not a single word of apology but said that someone will get back to me instead. Who needs to be visited in the middle of the night? my goodness!

The service standard (reception, door men, baggage service, room service, etc) is world class and almost one of its own. Fantastic service, perfectly clean, very comfortable and with great location. Newly renovated rooms simplistic, but very well- though out. One of the best Hyatt's ever.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
