5-star hotel with superb staff. Everyone I met was friendly, polite and efficient. Spacious rooms with a comfortable bed and high quality finish. Restaurants are really expensive but you also get very good service and quality meals. Grand Club is available for some categories of rooms. It has a very nice complimentary breakfast and in the evening complimentary drinks with...

A very nice hotel and a good location for exploring Hong Kong. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Only downside were the renovations which caused noise and closure of the cafe. Hopefully once the renovations are complete, this will be 5 stars.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. The garden view rooms even have a nice view of the pool, mountains and you can see a little of the water! Bathtub is excellent and so is the shower. I had late night room service which everything tasted great. I had lobster bisque, fried rice, ice cream and hot tea. :) The...

The Grand Hyatt hotel was a great stay in the hectic Hong Kong scene. The rooms were spacious & pristine, loved all the auto lighting & blind options which made for easy transitions. Shower was amazing. Food on property was great and easy to get a text if you wanted to go off property.

Warm hospitality and welcome by Marco and Staff. Very friendly and made my two young children very happy. Refurbished rooms were sensational. Modern yet oriental in design. Views of the Harbour were breathtaking. Christmas lights from our windows added to the joyous December holiday spirit. My daughters loved the huge bathtub with its accompanying LED screen. Loved the children's bath...

It's right next door, so only a 5 min walk. Staff are great, very efficient, and it's in-room dining is pretty good if you're working late. I didn't really venture out too much, so can't say much about the location.....

The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, post renovation, has lovely and very warm room ambience. This was my tenth stay in the hotel, I was told, at the reception when I was checking in. By the time I went up to my room, they sent up a bottle of champagne and a nice thank you note. They amazed me with the...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
