Overall staff service quality is satisfactory, in terms of politeness etc. However, we will appreciate if we are told upfront that our room requirement of near lift lobby could not be met, instead of lying. Specifically requested in reservation and reiterated at check-in that we will prefer a room near lift lobby. Staff at check-in told us such a room is not yet ready, implying that (1) if we can accept a room not near lift, we can get our room immediately (around 9am), or (2) we can wait for the room to be ready. We chose to wait for our room and checked in around 3pm. The room in the end was at the middle far end of the corridor, nowhere near the lift lobby. We felt deceived. Surely the staff could not have misunderstood what does "near" constitute? If you have walked 50-70% down the hallway, is that still near? Wrt room, there is no power point beside the bed, screen mirroring to tv did not work, hair dryer is inefficient, toilet drying is too slow, and the hair and body wash and conditioner were diluted with water.…

Exemplary service and fantastic breakfast food choices. A special mention of Richard who assisted me at check in and Ken Khan floor manager. He went above and beyond offering me complementary bubbles. The rooftop pool is luxurious, langham place mall so convenient and the spa is heavenly. The best hotel experience I've had.

He did so well when I checked in, provided us the bathroom mat as I am pregnant. The room is quite well but with insufficient lighting. Convenient location and at the center of city to explore. Overall is good.

Absolutely outstanding - service, comfort and experience! Rooms are spacious, hotel service is 10/10 and location is perfect to see the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Staff are so obliging and genuinely helpful. The hotel is luxurious and well sanitised and cleaned regularly. The pool and health centre are exceptional. Great hotel, great location, great staff. We had a club studio on the 38th floor with club benefits. The room was spacious, clean and modern. It been had twinkling lights on the window. The staff in the club lounge were amazing. Sorry I can’t remember your name but special thanks to the Sri Lankan who worked for Dilmah previously. You were so helpful, thank you. The food for afternoon tea included cakes, scones and one hot food. The evening canapés included hot food, salad, rolls and desert. It was enough to not need meals. The breakfast down stairs was of a good variety and quality. The location is fantastic, very close to the Ladies Market and easily access to the MTR to get anywhere. We ordered room service one night and it was also very tasty and good value. The pool and hot tub were absolutely fantastic ti relax around. Perfect stay at Cordis. All of my interactions with staff were professional and accommodating. THe location was convenient and able to get to MTR easily. I loved the hotel being attached to the Langham Mall and the shopping and dining options were diverse and good. I would definitely return to stay at the Cordis again.
