Having stayed at a few hotels in HK from 3.5 to 5 stars, this hotel is top of my list. It's next door to the Peninsula and about a third of the price. The location is perfect for both first time and seasoned HK travellers....More
1 block from metro. Walking to night markets. Very nice room and great service. I was suprised at how nice and spacious the rooms were for the price. It was a few stops away from Hong Kong island but still very good kowloon location!
We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. As many have mentioned before the rooms are a bit dated, however the size of the rooms for a family of 4 people was fantastic. We had a family suite on the 14th floor, we could watch...More
No frills but good service. Beautiful view of Victoria Harbour if you got a full harbor view room. MTR, bus terminal and ferry very close by. Restaurants within walking distance and very convenient with shopping. A good place to stop en route China and other...More
We were very satisfied with the accommodations at the YMCA. We had booked 2 rooms for 4 of us. One deluxe double and one suite. The suite had a fabulous view of Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbor. Several nights we waited for the light...More

Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the major tourist and shopping areas of Hong Kong. With a high concentration of hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an abundant number of high-end retail stores selling designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity with high-budget shopping tours. However, it also
contains a diverse range of attractions for the entire family. Whether taking a walk in Kowloon Park, exploring museums, going shopping or grabbing a bite to eat – Tsim Sha Tsui has something for everyone.

You can take a free bus to The Kowloon Airport express station which is available every 20-30 minutes near YMCA , Bell desk will give you a guide on demand . Airport metro takes 18 minutes to reach the Airport .

Hi, I had the same idea. From speaking to staff at the airport I learned there was no free shuttle to the hotel. If I understood them correctly the shuttle which you are referring to takes you to a train station. Whilst chatting to the staff at the airport I found there was a bus that does take you to the Salisbury (can't remember number) and it was cheaper than taking the train. Took a little longer but it was worth it. Bus stopped around the block from the Salisbury.
