Stayed at Sheraton Hong Kong many times for the location and suit business travel. New rooms design with very poor layout. Small room, no working desk, only a long sofa with a round table that is not suitable to do any work. Worst bathroom designt in all hotels we stayed at. There is no room for you to put anything...even their tissue box. And a few incident during our stay... 1- The blind (between the mirror and glass window facing bedroom) fell down when opened the blind, the 2 glasses cracked and splashed all over the sink and floor. Was in complete shock. Called the reception desk, the only thing they did is send the housekeeping in to clean up and fixed the blind. The housekeeper apologized for what happened. No customer service or manager even called to see what had happened..On my way out, passed by reception and told them the incident that design is pretty dangerous and fortunately, i was not hurt this time. Didn't seems that they care. Just acknowledged and we stayed for 5 days, no one even contact us again. 2- Asked for business centre as cannot do any work in the room and answer is none. To print documents, there will be charge of HK$20 per page !!! 3- When checked out, they messed up my invoice with the night stayed. Have to deal with it after came back home after visiting other countries. This will be our last time here. Don't think this is acceptable for a Marriott's standard.…
The hotel's exterior is wrapped up for renovation so the harbour views are obstructed, although at night you can see the neon lights shine through. I expected that as it was reflected in the lower price for the night. The room is quite clean and well-maintained. I didn't see stains in the bathroom and on the carpet and while the decor is dated, it is well-maintained. There is a long desk with proper chair which is great for working. Luckily, the construction noise was not too audible in my room and did not get in the way of my meetings. Staff are courteous and very professional. With lounge access, they tried to manage the numbers and offered to call back once a table is ready so we can wait in our room. Room service arrived promptly and tasted quite nice.
This was my first time staying at Sheraton Hong Kong TST, but the stay didn't satisfy me that much as the services were slow, and multiple issues with the room. The only positive thing that I remember from the hotel is that the rooms are new, and modern and have lots of natural light. Check-in and check-out at the counter took over 20 minutes each time which is a bit too long compared to other Marriott properties. Before arriving at the hotel, I communicated via email one day in advance to request extra bottles of water to be placed inside my room, but when I arrive, there aren't any extra bottles of water in the room. Therefore I can see that the internal communication is not done well enough. The thing that frustrates me the most was that in the nighttime when I was taking a shower and discovered the bottle of shower gel was completely empty. So I had to call the guest service team and inform them about it, but the person on the phone was like ok, we will send someone to replace it. This is the first time I ever stayed in a hotel that doesn't have shower gel inside the bathroom. Lastly, the light switches in the room are not functioning their best, as in my room, I can only either switch off all the lights in my room and not keep my bedside light on, or turn off the bedside light and keep the rest of the light inside my room on. Therefore, it feels like the room switches are not functioning properly. Overall, I can say that this hotel is not up ready yet as check-in and out took too long, rooms conditions are not ready yet as the room has no shower gel at the beginning and light switches not working, either you have to switch off all the lights in the room or keep them all on and not having only the bedside light on. Therefore, this is not a pleasant stay.…
This is an old place making a comeback. The room was newly renovated and all new. Bathroom was strangely planned. Cramped toilet area. no place to leave your toiletries owing to an unnecessarily large sink. Shower and tub were side by side in one enclosed room which just made things more cramped. The beds were very comfortable and sleeping was easy. Breakfast buffet was nice with many hot choices like Asian noodle soup as well as an omelet bar. Food and wine choices at the executive or club lounge were disappointing. The rates offered were very good probably due to ongoing renovation and occasional noise. Any higher and I would look for other options. Location is good being right on Nathan road.
This was my 2nd stay since 2019. Highly impressed this time with the rooms and facilities renovated lately. Kudos to Bonnie from Club and May from Front Desk who for the room arrangement and amenities. Staff were very friendly in general. We had enjoyed a wonderful night with the breathtaking Victoria Harbor View. One aspect the hotel can improve is the minibar. Will be great if capsule coffee machines and better quality teabags can be provided.
I am surprised after the renovation, there is no more business desk and chair, only sofa, Ottoman and round table. When I went downstairs for business centre, it is gone. You can only ask receptionist to print your document. The corridor is full of lights sticking out along the corridor. It is easy to smash into them if not paying attention or moving with cart of luggage. The toilet after gaming 2/3 for bathtub and shower is very small for the sink and cabinet. The glass weight scale sticks out from the bottom of the sink cabinet. There is no place for you to safely put your rinsing glasses. They can fall anytime to the floor. No room to put your box of tissue and have to hang along the edge of the sink. Hot water tap cannot be fully open as it hits the sink. It is so difficult to clean the back of the sink cabinet which can be seem through glass window from the room. We pulled the blind and the frame totally fell down and has to ask room service to fix it…
This is my 3rd stay at Sheraton TST, I stayed here for almost a month this year. Would like to take this opportunity to thank Johnson So, at the first day happy hour period, I was surprised and touched by him when he said “Welcome back 喝什麼?Gin Tonic?對不對” after that if he is on duty, I don’t need to order anything because he knows what I want to drink. Eva-ADD, our conversation started by “早晨 好耐冇見你 咖啡 好唔好?”, she is much older than me, it’s nice to see her every morning, when she was reminded me “今日好凍 要加衫 ” made me feel the warmth already. Christina Ng, I really appreciate for her welcoming and hospitality during my past 2 stays, unfortunately I don’t have chance to say hi and goodbye to her in person. 希望你和家人儘早康復 Noodle station chef who with glasses, she was saying “吃这么小 多吃一點才可以啊 怎麼每天都吃這麼小” to me every day, I've eaten over thirty bowls of your noodles this year, even more than my mother's. 😂 thank you for your hospitality. Sincerely…
Room was new and comfortable after renovation, the view from my room was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and staff was courteous. Only the club lounge was not that good as it may still renovation, it was relocated to lobby level temporary. Hope to visit again when the lounge is renewed.
This hotel is under major renovations and the noise during the day is quite loud. After 6 days I had to leave because the smell of smoke, and chemicals like a varnish smell was just too much! While the room I stayed in was renovated, I have to say that the renovations made me feel like I was staying in a Aloft hotel. The furniture was not really what you might expect from the Sheraton Brand. I don’t know why the sinks in the bathroom are so so big and give you very little counter space for your toiletries. Just a very poor design in my opinion! I think the management here did very little to show any appreciation for the most loyal elite ambassador guest. I was disappointed with the management especially Bonnie and the hotel manager. I have to say that Ivy Chen that works in the breakfast buffet was awesome!!! She really did an outstanding job!!! While this location is great, I have to say that the W hotel and the Ritz Carlton did a much much better job of making me feel welcome and appreciated!…
This property is undergoing major renovation work and it is understandable that there are noises at times. However, the professional team of staff Johnny and May at the front desk do their best to entertain our needs. Johnny also serves in the Executive Lounge and even though it is quite busy, he manages to arrange seats for guests in an orderly manner. If seating is not available, we can leave our contact details and would be informed accordingly. The in-house restaurants Celestial Court and Oyster Bar are good and the latter offers spectacular view as well. Make sure you book early though. This is one of our favorite and we definitely would come again.
