This hotel seemed expensive but is probably cheap for Hong Kong, it's the YWCA. Conveniently located, we had a room on the 17th floor with great views overlooking the city and immediately next to the Zoological Gardens. The room is not large but adequate for...More
i find this hotel location best fit my needs. it's on mid level away from the busy in town hotels. easy access to transportation downtown. clean and friendly service. no free in room wifi in some rooms unless you pay for the service. small lobby...More
The room was nice, okay and clean. Garden view is cheaper than any hotels in nearby Central. need around 5-10 minutes by taxi to go to Central. Nearby hotel is mostly residence and apartment. A bit difficult to go to the hotel, and you should...More
Booked a deluxe suite (for cheaper than most standard rooms elsewhere in HK) and not disappointed. 19th Floor, overlooking the city, gave us a splendid panorama of Hong Kong 24 hours a day. Taxis/buses stop right outside the lobby, and transport to central/ferries is only...More
The room was okay with a nice view of garden and city (Superior room). A bit difficult to get to/from the hotel. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you get the promo price online (shouldn't be more than $90 - $110).

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of
quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
