Booked this hotel because of the location, which is beside mtr station literally. Check-in was smooth and was upgraded to deluxe with breakfast. Staff were accommodating, my request such as power adapter, iron, extra linen, and towel were delivered within 5 minutes. Either it was language barrier or just their inventory system, my extra linen and towels were taken and...

We learnt that it was a hotel with quite a bit of history, but it was very well maintained. The room was typically small but the layout was well-planned and it did not feel crammed at any point in time for both of us. Location was excellent, just a stone's throw from the MTR. There was a wide selection of...

The rooms are quite small but they were clean and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom also tiny but great shower with great water pressure. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was amazing. Right on Nathan Road, a busy street great for walking always lively day or night. Right next to a pharmacy and tons of shops,...

Easy access to what a tourist needs - Jordan MTR, supermarket across the road, eateries, bakery & night spots, shopping & night market within walking distance and bus stops from & to airport close by. There was a taxi stand conveniently situated just next to the MTR. The staff service were friendly, informative and attentive. Even helped to inform the...

Overall my experience staying in this hotel is amazing. The hotel is centrally located, very easy to reach Jordan MTR (the station is right next to the hotel), so many stores and restaurant around the location. The room is decent, clean and quite comfortable. The staffs are also friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel with easy access to public transport, metro, small supermarket, bakery and best of all Kowloon Park. It is only 15 minutes walk to the Star Ferry terminal and 30 minutes to Ladies Market. The restaurant provides a very good breakfast with a mix of western and Asian dishes. The evening meal offers a buffet starter and dessert...

While the room is slightly on the smaller side,I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. For a 3-star, I felt the staff provided 5-star service. From check in to check out, all the staff were polite and friendly. They gone out of their way to let the taxi driver know which terminal to drop us off. Breakfast was good. Hotel...

The rooms and corridors are dated, however the rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and the room rates are very affordable for the hotel's central location on Nathan Road, with an entrance to Jordan MTR station located around the corner from the hotel and Tsim Sha Tsui is also within walking distance. The staff are also very friendly, always...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
