Great Location but a bit hard to find! Finding where the NCB Bank is because it’s in the same building. HKD 100 for Key card Deposit . Bring your own towel. Good Security with card scanning system for rooms and lockers Opening music in 2F common area, where u can meet many travelers. Free computers, water dispenser, cooking area, fridge/...

We stayed here after leaving another hostel in Mongkok and Yesinn Causewaybay is definitely way much better compared to it. Free coffee, tea, water and cooking utilities. Wet met great people and joined their free tours. Had no issues with their dorm beds either and the restrooms are great. Checking in and out is a breeze and they even let...

We stayed in the 20 bed dorm and were a bit scared at first due to the sheer number of people in one room. Luckily it wasn't bad at all. The room was massive, the air conditioning was amazing, and all beds had curtains for added privacy. The hostel itself had a great location right on the main street of...

The location is very central, the staff are very nice, helpful and most important always available. The rooms are specious, comfortable, the beds are good, everything is clean and well decorated. There is a cool atmosphere in the hostel, people are nice and the common areas contribute to these feelings. I wish I could stay longer. Very pricey for a...

Stay here many times as I have to be in Hong Kong often! Dorms are nice, beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Nice staff at the reception, free massage chair, open kitchen and they organize several activities such as Dim sum, horseraces & Hikes. Also have (long term) luggage storage! All together this is for sure one of the better...

1. Convenient location for traveling from/to airport, shopping, sightseeing 2. There were no towels left to rent when I checked in 3. Shower was private and large 4. Horrible, loud American top-10 music pumping via broken speakers in common area. Want to rest, talk, or work? Forget it 5. The usual masturbation thing going on in dorms - I only...

If accustomed to Kowloon claustrophobia, this place will come as a revelation. The common room actually has a free massage chair! No pool table nor chess, but the rooftop terrace is an institution for meeting all sorts & having a laugh. Pleasant staff - Nancy & The J's. Jo is very cheery; the others are nice too. Dorm/toilet facilities reasonably...

I booked a triple room. The triple room is located directly opposite of the main hostel. It was clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable (pillows a bit low for my neck). The conditions of the walls could be better as I saw water leaking from it. However, it's a hostel and we paid for what we get for. Location...

I have stayed 4 times at this hostel and I always satisfied. The hostel is clean with big room and private bathroom for 8 people. Room door has a security card. Enough space for your luggage. The price is good for Hong Kong. Good wifi, no breakfast but there is a lot of food near by, including supermarket. Bus to...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
