Detailed Reviews
This place is only meant to be booked if you are looking for something very very basic to spend a night or two with attached toilet bathroom. Its no where close to being a hotel nor is it a dorm, its just basic bed in a micro room. But it's very cheap, convenient and connected. So don't expect anything other than a good night sleep at probably the lowest price in HK.

The room really is micro - we stayed here ten nights which was too long in the limited space. I would say five nights would be more than enough here!! The staff were lovely and helpful, the location was get only a five minute walk from Jordan station!! However with the toilet being in the room there was a constant damp smell which was unpleasant. It did the job for us and was very cheap, would recommend if someone wanted somewhere cheap to stay in Hong Kong.

I stayed here just for one night , I had read many reviews and was surprised at how cheap the price was .
I have visited Hong Kong many times so I knew to expect very small rooms .
I have also been told with HK to not Judge the building by its exterior , it looks very run down and scruffy .
Unfortunately so are the rooms .
Does the job for a cheap stay and the location is very close to MTR's and markets , the staff were actually very friendly .
Overall - I would avoid staying here in the future , rooms seem dirty and very scruffy.

Filthy. Unsanitary. Mattress was brown with stains and I found dirty underwear and a browning towel under the air conditioning. Under the mattress was so much dirt. I left in disgust. As it was a self check in, there was nobody to tell, so I emailed them. They emailed back reproaching me for booking a budget accommodation, as if it is normal for budget accommodation to be filthy.
I would not recommend this place.

We booked one room for two for five nights, as we initially found the hotel to be simple, clean and cheap. It also had good reviews, which sold us.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a fairly friendly front-desk staff, but were surprised to find that we were required to sign an agreement form saying that we had to give the place a good review or suffer additional charges from the hotel in return for free wifi and towels.
When we got to our room, we were shocked to see the size of the room (which, we swear, looked bigger in pictures). The rooms are "windowless cells" (to borrow from a fellow reviewer), you can barely move around with your luggages closed. You can't open both at the same time. The bathroom is tiny, and emits an odour of still and rotting air.
The hotel's cancellation policy requires one to notify them for about 20 days before cancelling, which is fine.
We stayed there for two nights, and decided, we couldn't take it anymore. So we called the front desk (they don't have a staff permanently at the booth) to inform them we were moving out. The receptionist warned us that if we used the hotel's wifi and towel (wifi is reportedly free according to their website), we'd be charged extra on our credit card, if we left them negative feedback.
Well, here it is. We wanted to give this place a chance as the rooms were fairly clean (they do need to vacuum the mats and air the rooms though), but the threat was simply the last straw. I only put one here, because we can't even give them zero out of five.
Even after our unsatisfactory stay, they said they'd charge us for the full amount, which we are willing to pay. The mention of additional charges was, frankly, very unnecessary.
One redeeming factor about this place though, is that the location is fairly convenient. It is near Jordan MTR and near Temple Street.
So please, from one traveller to another, do not consider this place at all.

I am not sure whether the reviews on this hotel are real at all as what I experienced and saw in this hotel is not what everyone else seemed to experience. I saw a few bad reviews on this hotel but decided to try it anyway. I wish I never!
First of all the pictures on this site that are provided are not at all what this 'hotel' looks like. I use the term hotel loosely as it is more like a hostel.
The rooms are very small, and also very very unclean. For such a small room, this place should be much cleaner.
The bathroom smells terrible and is very unclean. Every night when arriving back to the room there were bugs running around on the bed, they looked like beige and black wood louse's but I am unsure what exactly they were. Also there were very little bugs running around the sink area which was filthy.
On my last night the internet stopped working altogether which was frustrating as I had work to do.
Every morning, I would be awoken by the receptionist talking very loudly on the phone or with her friends.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Every night I would dread going back to the hotel or dread even having a shower! This place is not worth the price at all, and I went to look at some other guest houses even within the same building and they were much better than this 'hotel'. Don't waste your money or time.
The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location and not anything else about it. There are other much nicer and cleaner guest houses/hotels within this area.

We booked two rooms for 6 nights as the hotel, though small and simple -and cheap - had such good reviews. On arrival we were led to what I can only describe as windowless cells. In return for towels we were asked to sign a form saying we would give the 'hotel' a good review. It was hot and noisy and the bathroom area ( basin, toilet and a hand held shower hose ) was dirty and smelly. We decided we could not stay in such a horrible place and handed back our keys, and found another hotel. Had booked through booking.com and informed them that the so -called hotel's adverts were misleading to say the least. They asked micro hotel not to charge us for our non-stay. However the micro hotel went ahead and charged me for the entire 6 nights, which cost over £300, although we had not used the rooms.

The hotel is located in between 2 MRT stations (Yau Ma Tei/Jordan) on nathan road which is the main road which runs all the way from areas of mong kok down to tsim tsa tsui. Walk to either MRT stations will take about 5 mins from the hotel.
Place is a little small but i think it fits me nicely (height about 1.7m). Bathroom is small too but then again i'm not complaining since i do not have much difficulty turning around in the bathroom.
Price is definitely a huge plus point for this place.
Definitely will come back again for a stay if i do drop by hong kong again. but if u're a big sized person, might need to reconsider before placing a booking here.

First off.. I booked this place on Booking.com under the name OHK Hotel!! Don't go looking for it because you wont find it. Upon arrival I couldn't find the place at first as I was expecting something completely different than dorms above stores. I tried to call for directions with no answer. Luckily I had service and was able to pull up my booking and point to it to the guy who sits downstairs. He tells me 5th floor, I go and search but it seems like anything but a hotel up there and there is a black curtain that you are somehow supposed to know is this place! No one was at reception and therefore I had to call using their phone. The staff was very nice, Im sure they are used to dealing with unhappy customers, especially westerners. She warned me on the way to my room (closet) that is was small. That was an understatement!!! I literally couldnt get me and m bag all the way in!!!! She was nicely and thankful offered to "upgraded" me to a slightly bigger closet. The pictures they use are VERY misleading and the fact that they call it a hotel is CRAZY!. The size I guess is supposed to be expected and I could get passed it however the bathroom is more like a shower with a toilet and sink in it with horrible ventilation. Couldn't even sit to use the toilet properly as my knees hit the wall and I practically had to stand halfway out the bathroom to brush my teeth. I guess i should be happy my room actually had a "bathroom", Id hate to see the rooms without. Ceiling had squashed flies and there were many alive just going about their business. I was hoping to be able to say that at least I didn't see any crawling bugs BUT the day before I left one peaked out from behind my headboard! I felt very itchy in the room I am HOPING it wasn't bed bugs and just my nerves about being in there. Room WRECKS of mold smell. The pin code for the door is cool, however the codes are so simple I am sure you can guess the other peoples room codes. The elevator is very dodgy looking and I still don't know what it was but it looks like sh*t smeared on the wall and the inner door of it. I was told no smoking, no that I do, yet the halls smell like it!. This is the one time I did not check reviews before booking and it will be the LAST. Honestly if you see a good review, they either work for them or did it for something in return. If i was offered an upgrade in exchange for a good review, there is NO way in hell that I would after enduring that. Only nice things I can say is again staff are nice and the location is great to getting around. If Im even more honest, staying here put a damper on my whole trip to Hong Kong.

When we checked in we were told we had got a ‘free upgrade’. It meant we got towels and the WiFi code (things I would expect to be included) but we’re told if we gave a bad review on trip advisor we would be charged for the upgrade an extortionate fee on the credit card we used to book. This was pretty dishonest. The hotel room is very small and not in the safest feeling building but is conveniently located for the MtR and centrally located. I understand that small hotels are common in HK.
