Stayed in the family room, the size was tiny but manageable. We kept having problems with the key card as it kept getting demagnetised but the staff was prompt in dealing with that. The location was great - just a stones throw from Temple Street Market, Yau Ma Tei MTR and a 711. Overall it was a good stay and...

It is tiny hotel for one person traveller. Everything here is small but enough for one people. There is no breakfast available, no bar or restaurant, so you cannot ask for even an ice cube. The location is great as it is at the side of nathan road and near many restaurant including mc donald (within walk). At it is...

Sayed in Kings de Nathan in March this year and was generally happy with it. First, some of the cons. Given the space constraint that is Hong Kong, it is understandable how a standard room here is at least two-thirds the size of a standard room in another country, and at the same price per night! The walls and door...

What I like about this Hotel: Just a few meters next to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station so it is very easy to go around. Check in was quick and easy. Right next to Temple st. which has a night market and a few local restaurants that serve good and dirt cheap menus. Rooms are nicely done and interior is...

After spending few nights in a pigeon hole hotel, we moved in for a night at Kings de Nathan. Room is of decent size; at least I have some space to open my luggage and repack comfortably. Room is clean too. Location wise, it is wonderful: just a block away from the Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Not too dodgy...

We stay there for a night .. The hotel is not big but is very clean. Room size is ok for Hong Kong standard. There is no proper restaurant at the hotel but just around the corner there are many eateries... There is a road side dim sum shop which has excellent 'Siew Mai'... Also many wan ton noodle and...

Everything said by the earlier reviewers is true. The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff were very helpful (even helped us find local delicacies) but the room is very very small. I stayed in the triple room with my husband and two young children and it was too small for us. There is no space even to...

Like most hotels in Hong Kong, Kings de Nathan's room is small although my room cost me almost USD200. However, like most, the room is clean. However, although it had a separate shower room, but it was only separate with a shower curtain, which will also make the whole toilet wet easily which I don't like. The soap dispenser is...

Very Tiny hotel and room The hotel design looks modern with dark theme nicely done in very limited space. Overall it is a fairly clean hotel but you will find this hotel and your room and bathroom very very small. The room was quite too dark and small making three of us got hit to sharp corners in the room...

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
