I have stayed at this hotel during my business trip. Hotel is not worthy for the money I have spent. Rooms are smaller and clumsy. Hotel staff are also not co-operative and polite. The service quality is not up to the mark. Only great feature is its location which is suited for your business needs. First impression of the Hotel...

We recently stayed at the Cosmopolitan for a business trip and I must stay the staff is excellent in taking care of the clientele. Right from the start, you get a friendly Bell man and the rooms are tidy. The housekeeping team is always friendly and if you have any concerns or need assistance Mr. Kelvin Choi, Guest Services Manager...

I will make this quick, We stayed at The Cosmopolitan, Hong Kong for 2 nights on the final leg of an amazing honeymoon around Asia. Our first impression of the hotel as we walked in was shabby and dated - and that isn't in a cool, retro, vintage kind of way. There were pink velvet armchairs dotted all around the...

Stayed at Cosmopolitan Wanchai on business this time. There was no prior advise during the booking that there was renovation ongoing but they were able to keep the noise and dust to a minimum. The free shuttle is still a big plus, especially the new routes. Only negative for me this time is that the assistant manager who assisted during...

excellent price for the accomodation (60€/person per night), excellent breakfast included, free shuttles to go to Central and other destinations, useful and good concierge the room was big, but not so wide tolet 4 people in it easily (we were 3, luckily). But it's Hong Kong WanChai, so it's impossible to have something different for this perfect price!

Modern, clean. Great buffet selection for the complimentary breakfast. Staff are very helpful and warm. It's not exactly surrounded by commercial establishments but the free shuttle service to major malls in the vicinity provides a ton of convenience. A bus stop is located right next to the hotel. WIFI is not free inside the rooms, but I hope they would...

Apart from the hotel being in a great location (minutes away from all the tourist attractions), the staff members of this hotel were superb! I had a small medical issue during my stay and the staff were super attentive and made sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Louis Chan and Ronald Cheung (staff members) were out of...

If you're stay at the lower floors and facing the back of the hotel, your windows will be shaded (no visible view). On the upper floors, the windows are clear but its a view of a big cemetary. Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, you name it. Location of the hotel is quite a walking distance to the MTR station. The funny...

We stayed for a week in the Cosmopolitan Hotel overlooking the happy valley race course on Hong Kong Island in March 2013. We had booked a package with a flight through Cathy Pacific. Dear Peter, Thank you for your comments. We regret to know that the reserved standard room was not to your liking upon arrival. We trust the room upgrade with just little extra cost has given you not only a more spacious room but also the great views of the city. Please also try our suite that measures 48 sq. m....

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
