It was a pleasant experience to stay at J Plus. Good location & very close to MTR station and buses station at Hennessy Road. The room is in good size for such prime location at Causeway Bay Area. 50steps away from the main shopping area, i.e Jumbo Sogo, Hysen Place & Time square. Plenty of restaurants nearby, it's directly opposite...

Stayed there mid-April 2017 in the Suite Plus room on business. I'm usually not a huge fan of boutique hotels for business trips. However, this was not a disappointment. Location is great, just 5 mins walk to the Causeway Bay MTR station. If you like shopping there are two or three huge malls nearby as well. The living room was...

The central location of J Plus Hotel is a big draw of course. In the heart of Causeway Bay but also the tram stop, buses and MTR to get you anywhere you need. Spacious room and attentive staff have made it a smooth and comfortable stay.

This was my first stay in this hotel, Location was good for shopping. Near to MTR. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The receptionist service was great, every question was detailed answered and even gave us better ideas how to use our time efficiently.

Overall good value for money. Location was good for shopping. Near to MTR. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly. However, the aircon was noisy throughout the night and the pillows were rather flat.

This was my first stay in this hotel but I have been to HK a few times now.. this was by far one of the bigger rooms I have stayed in that was still a reasonable price. The location of this hotel is so perfect, right amongst the nightlife of Causeway Bay and right across from a Din Tai Fung....

Property is super artsy, has a unique feel to it in corporate HK. It's located in the middle of Causeway Bay, so there's tons of restaurants, shopping, etc around. It's also convenient to MTR (1 block away) & buses. The coolest thing are the rooms. They're well decorated with pops of color and even come with a small kitchenette area....

Traveled once more to Hong Kong for the annual rugby tournament, a time when Hotels are full and the prices high. For us, the location in Causeway Bay was ideal, most places being walking distance from the hotel and easy access to the MTR for longer journeys. The rooms are a good size, bright and clean. Since the rooms are...

Okay it's expensive for the HK7s (HKD 8500 for three nights!!) but the location is excellent. You can tumble out of the stadium and wobble your way back to the hotel in 15 minutes. The rooms were excellent, the buffet breakfast definitely different and happy hour wines great. The only thing I'd like to see was the staff was a...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
