After reading the positive reviews, I booked Dragon for November 2012. I was unable to make the trip and was told in mid October that 50% of my one night deposit will be refunded to me. I told the hotel that I feel bad about cancelling and will try to get someone to stay there for a night and use...

Excellent location, cleanliness is average, staff is very accomodating. One of the downside is the water heater. It takes quite some time for the water to heat up. You will get a spray of cold water in the middle of a hot shower and wait for about 10 mins. for the water to heat up again. Also, it would be...

We stayed here for 4 days during our visit to HK and Macau. Good thing about this hostel: - in the midst of MongKok, Ladies Market is just opposite of the road. - close to MTR station, MongKok station is just a block away. - cleanliness at its max, the room werent smelly at all. - offer cheap tickets to...

If you want to experience the real Hongkies life, I would strongly recommend you to stay here. Located at the heart of Mong Kok, everything is just within walking distance. The MTR station is just less than five minutes walk, convenient stores at the opposite blocks, and near to the well-known Ladies Market. The owner is also a good English...

I stayed in their triple room (shared bathroom) for 5 days in November 2012 with my sister and brother, we were pretty satisfied with our stay. One of the reasons for that is its close proximity to the Mongkok MTR station and the different shopping areas like the Ladies Market and Fa Yuen Street (a major plus if you're a...

We moved to this hotel on our last night in Hong Kong, although its small, its better that the previous hotel that we booked. Its neat, clean, the staff are very accommodating and helpful. They have two computers at the lobby were everybody can use it. The wifi connection is alright I guess, its just so happen that our room...

Pros: Locations is good; situated near shops and above an electronics shopping centre brings about convenience. Food stores are aplenty as well. Owner speaks good english (good for those with no Cantonese background,) The price is very cheap. (50 per room/night). Free internet consoles are available on the office floor. Cons: Space is a premium and bathroom can be at...

We began our journey throughout Asia in Hong Kong in late December. We wanted to be centrally located, find a room for four people on a reasonable budget, and feel safe. We selected Dragon Hostel because of its excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and we were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived, Mr. Stanley showed us to our room, making...

First, I was shocked that the building. But we don't judge a book by its cover. A basic room in a great location. Location is very good near to Mongkok station, close to shops and restaurants, internet is provided, clean sheets and towels. We are satisfied with the limited but adequate space in the attached bathroom. Toilet very tiny and...

Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs.
