The best holiday at a theme park. Most of the time, i find theme park hotels overpriced. This for one is worth it. We managed to stay at a suite, so we had personal and express check-in at the lounge area. In addition, all staff we very warm and friendly toward my toddler. Meals i had them at the lounge, not the best stuff, but great enough to pack our tummies before heading back to the park. On the day i arrived, there were also a lot of activities to keep my son occupied. One thing i hated was the bus shuttle, they go really fast and it was really bouncy, nothing to do with the hotel, it was the park's service.
Always loved to visit here during Lunar new year, especially enjoyed the lion dance show. Great atmosphere with a lot of warm smile from the staff. Room is good enough for family of 4, spacious, neat and clean. Suggested to get a parking pass from reception, just cost you $190 and you can enjoy using the parking lots both in the resort and hotel.
Excellent services at Kingdom Club that all kids would like to go back for staycation again. Thanks Bonnie @Kingdom Club who makes our stay more wonderful. Would like to have our staycation again during Easter. The lion dance and CNY activities made CNY atmosphere better.
Very happy to revisit this hotel during CNY period, it was a wonderful experience to see the performance of Lion Dance after the relaxation of COVID measurements, it’s been almost 3 years, every people were so happy and excited to see the performance, it was filled with happiness and enjoyments… we can see the happy faces all around. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, service was great, food was delicious and we were so lucky to see Minnie Mouse at hotel lobby, we can take pictures with her, our kids were so happy! It’s very nice and good option to stay in Disney hotels during festive season, I would highly recommend this hotel to those who travel with kids, the location was also the best part as the distance between hotel and the park was so close, it would take around 10mins walk to the park entrance, it’s so good……
We just spent a wonderful weekend in this hotel, all the staff are friendly and welcoming with their smiles. Specially thanks to the staff on Kingdom Club whom extended their great hospitality to my family, the service was superb and impressive. We loved to spend time in the lounge and chat with the staff. Special thanks to Irene, Miki, Kayla, Priscilla, Stephan and Ada (I tried to remember all the staffs that I met in this 3 days) of their professional and sincere manner to make our trip more enjoyable and memorable! Also thanks to Alex who remembered my son loves Mickey very much and gave him the coloring paper with Mickey pattern, he really loves it… Besides, the room was spacious enough, clean and tidy, Suki has done a great job to clean and make up our room during the stay. We also enjoyed the hotel activities especially Tai Chi class in the morning, we have so much fun and very glad to meet my son’s favorite character- Mickey, he really enjoys and loves playing this… Overall we have a great holiday and will definitely see you again in my next trip at HK Disneyland Hotel! Keep on the good job everyone!…
This is my second visit to Disneyland hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to visitors or locals. They have the worst service ever. I paid $5000 hkd for 2 nights with balcony and ocean views plus Linabell decorations. This package does not include any breakfast or dinner. It took me 2 hours transportation to get to the hotels. Right after I entered the room, I requested diapers from the reception. The receptionist told me I can only request diapers once and they only gave me 2 pieces. And told me that if I don’t have enough diapers, I have to go to tung Chung to get more diapers (by my self of course) this is really ridiculous that I paid around $5000 hkd for 2 nights and I can’t even request more diapers from a hotel and I have to travel back to the town to get more diapers? …
Kingdom Club is awesome, checked in directly at the Club level. Traveling with a pre teen and a toddler in tow can be stressful but everyone at the Kingdom Club were so helpful and kind, they made the trip a complete breeze for us. We felt especially grateful to the Club Manager and Dennis, who went out of his way to make the trip magical for us, right from the moment we checked in. We always felt relaxed despite full occupancy during the peak Christmas season. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the Hotel facilities, the maze, Indoor pool is back to normal, no need to prebook anymore. Toby and Adam of the Concierge team helped us with everything including taking photos. Kingdom Club also organizes daily activities for the kids, we did some cute crafts making Christmas decorations and stayed for the funny Bed time stories by Iron and Emily. Photos with cartoon characters now takes place at the other end of the corridor and they now stay really far away for some long distance photos, which was a bit strange but probably required with covid restrictions. Breakfast at the Kingdom Club was so much more relaxing without the usual crowds, the queues and kids running around the buffet spread. Food at the restaurants is quite pricey but it is expected. Thank you Dennis and Disneyland Hotel, I hope to be back soon. …
Spend a night at the Hong Kong Disneyland hotel, it was such a wonderful experience. The view from the room was gorgeous. There are many things to do inside the hotel and it wasn't a lot of people. It was very relaxing and the kids are excited! The only cons is the hotel is getting old, some part might need to be renovated soon.
who have been wonderful, and some who downright should not be working in customer facing roles. We checked in yesterday and everything was smooth sailing. I appreciated how convenient they made it for us to check in and just come back later with our cards, and even pre-arrival was really good where cast members were responsive to enquiries and helped to make bookings and gave really great advice on our add ons. The deluxe room is nice and spacious, though next time I would book an ocean facing room, it makes a whole lot of difference and gives your stay an extra spark of magic. They no longer have the little toiletry bottles which is a bummer, swapping out for large dispensers in the bathroom instead. Love that being a hotel guest also allows you a designated line for entry to the park. Super useful when it gets crowded at the entrance. Now what’s the issue? Enchanted Garden. Ok, maybe not the entirety of the restaurant because the food is generally good and the ambiance is great. The issue.. is with one particular cast member named Peggy . We were hastily told in Cantonese to wrap up at breakfast this morning because of the time limit, so we tried to just grab whatever we had not finished to go. (Also, super presumptuous that just because we’re Asian that we speak Cantonese.) Peggy storms back to the table to say we can’t do that, we barely understand her but her clear look of annoyance and gesturing was enough to tell us what she was trying to say, which okay is fine if it’s hotel policy not to be able to take things away since you’re worried we get food poisoning or whatnot.. but what isn’t okay and is definitely not fine is her staring hostilely at us across the room, pulling in other colleagues to stare at us as well to make sure we didn’t take the handful of pastries with us. Give me a break, Peggy. It’s a god damned muffin. It’s amazing that they would rather see food go to waste than to let a paying customer just take it with them, what more for a child? It’s not like you can put our leftovers back in the buffet line. Unnecessary behaviour that just REALLY ruined the experience. I had such fond memories being here the last time that I wanted my family to experience the same but no. Never again after this. You don’t pay this much money to be treated this badly. On our last night, we realised how thin the walls of the room actually are where we could hear extremely clearly the person in the next room, as well as when they were in the hallway. However, I guess this is typical of hotels that are a little older. We called front desk to let them know of the noise and they actually reacted really quickly which was great. Anyway, still 3 solid stars for the hard product. But the soft product is what wins customers into becoming lifelong fans. Work on that and you’ll have a winner.…
I’ve been to this hotel twice (October and December) with my newly adopted daughter and both times the room smelled like cigarette smoke. I went to the staff as well as management but all they did was reiterate the rules of “no smoking!” I don’t need the rules, I need the rules enforced! I have pictures of cigarette ashes as well as a guy smoking! I’ve written to management and spoken to management! I can’t breathe when my room smells like this! They simply reiterated the rules and told me “next time I’ll be in a different area” I’m not sure I want a next time after twice having a room that smelled like cigarette smoke and nothing was done during those months! Not a “no smoking” sign even! I’m very frustrated because I love Disney and want to take my daughter a lot but with this lack of effort on stopping people from smoking, I’m not sure it’s worth it.…
