Nice place, aging well. The Jinling Resort was here before the metro and the tall buildings. The rooms are comfortable and the gardens are a nice break from the hustle of the city. I would add pics but my TripAdvisor app will not let me.

The hotel is located in the South of Nanjing in the upcoming office district of Jiangjing, 10 km from the city center and 30 km from the Airport. The resort is on a large ground with an extensive garden on the lake shore of a lake. The 130 rooms are in a two level building. The access to the rooms... More

The gym is functional with benchpress and a couple free weights. The swimming pool is top notch (but check the opening times). The breakfast in the lobby restaurant is decent. Overall the property shows some age but is maintained

This hotel was no doubt a fantastic place in it's heyday when it was built. The grounds are very nice with walking paths and nice area's to relax by ponds, waterfalls or the river. Unfortunately the property is in need of serious upkeep and remodeling. The rooms were spacious but my carpet was heavily stained and looked to have been... More

I have stayed here several times, most recently July 2014. The property is one of the Jinling chain; Jinling has a number of properties around this region of China. It's quite convenient to southern Nanjing, including the main railway station Nanjing South, about a 15 minute cab ride. Service with house and restaurant staff is good with occasional limitations of... More

This is a nice hotel with a good breakfast for china. It has a beautiful center area with Chinese style architecture with carp pounds surrounding the walk way. The only problem with this hotel is it's out of the way. There are no close restaurants or stores so you have to take a taxi everywhere. Also it is confusing for the... More

This hotel was just average in general, the rooms were a bit old yet large and clean, the inside of the hotel also seemed a bit old. The walk from the lobby to the rooms in the back was somewhat long and in some parts, open, thus cold on a winter day. The surprising part is that I couldn't see... More

The availability of western breakfast food is good for a Chinese hotel. The rooms are fine, I'm in one of the Japanese style rooms. It is out of the central district so if I had to rely upon taxi's I would be worried. Room service food is fine. The lobby bar is one in name only, I asked for a... More

Impressed by the beautiful garden&lake inside the resort, the choices and quality of the breakfast (some of my favourite traditional Chinese food), and a large TV hidden inside a closet! The lake nearby is very beautiful too.

Not to be fussy. But this very nice hotel would truly be perfect if it had a simple western bar and pumped in a little sports on TV. Lots of nice touches in this hotel. The sight lines are terrific. The breakfast is quite adequate. Ask for a room viewing the lake.
