At first glance this hotel seems questionable; lobby is little more than a breezeway. Staff is pleasant but uniforms could all have been washed and ironed. (First impressions, ya know?). Rooms were completely lacking decor. White walls; nothing at all on walls. Furniture was fake wood. We had to call maintenance to turn on the heat; no instructions available in...

Stayed 3 nights. A great room, spacious with large shower. All the coffee, bathroom scales, dressing gowns, wine glasses etc expected of a class hotel. Particularly we liked the courtyard layout where we could sit outside and enjoy the evening in a quiet atmosphere, see turtles in the ponds, have a cold beer (bought across the road, prices terrible at...

For such a special city, the blandness of this hotel makes it stand out. The room was comfortable and had all the necessities. The breakfasts were adequate, though the coffee was terrible. But it could have been anywhere in any country. There wasn't a single feature to distinguish it. I was traveling with a group that aimed to stay at...

My husband and I spent one night here before moving for 3 more nights to the outstanding St Regis. (The Sheratons "sister"hotel). Pros Staff tries to be helpful, our heat was not working and it was cold at night and in the morning. Someone came up at one point with a portable heater that helped somewhat... There is a little...

When we walked into the lobby we thought, "oh, oh, what kind of hotel is this?" as it's rather small and not ornately decorated. BUT, we were given a huge corner room with massive windows that allowed us to see the Potala Palace. The room was such a pleasant surprise! It can be noisy on the street at night(music, dogs,...

Stayed here one night during my Tibet Trip, amazed by the friendliness of the staff, want to thank especially Ren Qian and Peter, both went the extramile to answer all our questions and fulfill our requests. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and has what you expect from this brand. Can recommend this place without any doubts.

This Sheraton is kind of small but it is located in the city center. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes walking to Portola Palace. Rooms appear to have been recently re-modeled. Staff are friendly. The only short coming is the restaurant. The food and servers were not bad but could be much better. I give the restaurant a 3-star rating.

We were very happy with our five night stay at the Four Points Sheraton. Clean, quiet, with excellent service. The TV in our room was broken, and within a day t was fixed. The breakfast has a good selection of both western and Tibetan food. The hotel is located about 2 blocks away from southern entrance to the old city/Barkor....

The hotel is a four storey series of long buildings around a courtyard. It feels like a converted school. Although lacking in style and frills, the room was fine. The staff was very responsive (for example when a bulb needed replacing). The restaurant was adequate and variable, one evening a buffet was laid out that was excellent in terms of...

Good hotel in Lhasa considering the local standards. Rooms are comfortable but not all employees (almost none) were able to speak english. Good breakfast, pool not tried (at the hall there was the advice but we were not able to understand if really there was or not).
