For Tibetan standards, this is a luxury hotel. For western standards this is a good hotel. First impression of the hotel: From the outside, we only can see a massive wall with windows – no charm, no design and the access to the lobby is trough a couple of stairs – really not impressive. The lobby is quite small and...

We spend 3 nights at the Sheraton as part of a Viking River Cruise and trip to Tibet. The hotel is very conveniently located to all the important sites in Lhasa and has comfortable rooms. While not luxurious, it is certainly more than adequate and there is a very good restaurant with lots of western choices as well as local...

Very friendly and helpful staff especially for those not quite acclimatized. There are quite a varied range of room types. Some are in the main hotel and then there aer rooms at the back which obviously don't get a view and are currently having problems with airconditioning. defiantly make sure you get a room in the main building as these...

Spent several nights here while touring Lhasa. Has all the amenities of a standard Four Points and serves as a comfortable base for exploring the City. Good location within walking distance to the centre.

Modern hotels are a luxury in Tibet. This is one of the very limited modern western chain hotels (another one that I am aware of is the St Regis, located near to this hotel). We upgraded to this hotel as we wanted to have a comfortable rest after 10 days of traveling in Tibet, and we were really glad with...

Myself and 2 friends stayed for 4 nights in May and another 3 nights in June. The resident doctor and tha availability of oxygen was a great feature as one of our group has respitary problems and Dr Feng was available when required and provided great care. The staff were kind and very friendly, especially reception and the concierge staff....

I'm glad we upgraded our hotel in Lhasa to the Four Points. Tibet is not a great place for good hotels and good ones like this are rare. The hotel appears to have been built in phases. The main block, where the reception is, is ok but maybe a bit basic. There is a newer part to the left of...

I was surprised when we pulled up to this hotel as I was expecting something more based on the reviews. Overall this is not a bad hotel, it is clean and comfortable but the service is very poor and the rooms are dated. The hotel does not have any adjoining rooms and we were traveling with our 13 year old...

This is a typical Four Points; reasonably clean and functional rooms. We had adjoining rooms with comfortable beds, two nightstands, sofa and coffee table, TV and desk. The baths were modern. One of the rooms had a problem with a circuit breaker that kept tripping, but we easily flipped the switch each time and did not not bother notifying the...

Hotel is in a great location, service was very good. My husband experienced Mountain Sickness and there was a doctor in the hotel all the time. They obviously charged us for the service which is easily recoverable via insurance. The doctor had a translator and thankfully my husband recovered in 4 hours after two days of suffering! Breakfast was good...
