This is an excellent hotel, worthy of the 5 star status. Exceeded our expectations.

Room:
Spacious, well furnished, great city view, comfortable large beds (we had a double twin) all amenities like hair dryer iron & ironing board etc.
Decent quality shampoo & shower gel.
Towels were fluffy and smelled good.

Breakfast buffet:
Best breakfast buffet I have experienced, definitely worth the price, at least if you're hungry! Wide variety of quality food, both cold and hot. Omelettes made to order. Coffees teas and delicious smoothies can all be ordered from the table for free. Staff are very helpful.

Lobo restaurant:
The evening restaurant is also recommended, delicious high quality food at a reasonable price. The Onsen Uovo soup is my favourite, you'd pay twice as much for a starter of that quality in London. Worth a visit if you're not too full from the breakfast buffet!

Gym:
Much bigger and better stocked than I expected. Lots of equipment that you would find at a regular gym including bosu ball, exercise balls, aerobic steps. Not too busy. Includes a couple of studios with plenty of mirrors to check form. Towels and bottled water are already placed in treadmill and elliptical.

Poolside:
Quiet and spacious pool area. No rush to reserve places with towels! Toha in particular was a very helpful and friendly member of staff, and even gave us free ginger tea and orange slices whilst we sat by the pool, which was fantastic. This was a great place to relax for the afternoon.

General Appearance:
Opulent lobby and well furnished throughout.

English:
The majority of staff, have very good English. Some of the more junior wait staff struggle, but not a major hurdle.

Overall:
Excellent hotel with great friendly service, it's quiet with great facilities.

Spend one night here on a staycation. I booked directly through their website so I have their dining package which includes free dinner and wine for two for just a little extra charge. It really was a good deal knowing a buffet dinner at Asia Restaurant costs USD 49 ++ per pax.

Their room was a huge one, around 60 sqm in total. Bed is comfortable with plush pillows. Bathroom equipped with bath tub, double wash basin, and separated shower. There's also a separated room for drawers, storage area to hang your clothes and put your luggage.

The swimming pool was rather small but good enough for us. The fitness center is one of the largest I've ever seen in a hotel.

Overall experience was good. Hotel staff and services was excellent, just what I expect from a five star hotel. A little improvement can be made with the door unlock mechanism.

On our recent visit to Jakarta we were lucky enough to spend 3 nights in a Club Room at the Ritz Carlton. The hotel exudes the class you would expect from a luxury brand and the service throughout was beyond excellent. Our visits to the club lounge were made even more enjoyable by the fantastic staff and Errlando in particular was a credit to the hotel, polite friendly and efficient at all times. We couldn't have asked for any more. The current Club Room prices offer outstanding value when you consider what is included and we would definitely recommend this option.

Our Club Room on the 25th floor was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Rooms are a classic design with a large bed, sofa and desk should you need to use one. The bathroom was also spacious and offered a double sink, large walk in shower and a bath with a view. The complimentary toiletries were very nice too. The dressing area provided plenty of space for your clothes and a safe for valuables.

The hotel is in a very convenient location just south of the centre in Mega Kuningan with lots of shopping and sites nearby. Common spaces were elegant and spacious and security top notch with the assistance of the lovely dogs which greeted the arrival of every vehicle.

All in all we had an excellent stay which will remain in our memories for a long time.

My family and I are currently undergoing our quarantine in the Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan and it’s been a very disappointing experience. The initial room we were given had plumbing and electrical problems. After complaining to the duty manager we were finally moved to another room, but the plug points / telephone don’t work well and the facilities desperately need repairing.

The service stands out as the worst we have faced so far in any hotel we have stayed in. It takes them hours to give towels and water. The other hotel we stayed in earlier in 2021 just gave fresh towels and replenished water every day so we didn’t even have to call for it - don’t know why Ritz doesn’t do it. Food is very average and the menu doesn’t have much options to keep things interesting for 10 days.

Overall, this is probably going to be the most difficult 10 days of our lives. If not for quarantine rules we would probably have moved out of this hotel after one night. It’s sad to see a brand like Ritz Carlton with such low service levels. Hotels like this really make me rethink being a Bonvoy member.

Stayed 2 nights at the Grand Room with 2 double beds. Big room, big window and clean. Kids love the bathtub (bring your own bubble bath).

Breakfast was standard, they have 3 sessions, we took the last session from 9-10 AM, it was quite full but the tables were far apart.

Swimming pool is great, the depth is at 1.2m. You need to book what time you want to swim, it is limited to 20 people per hour. We picked 12-1 PM, there were only another family in the pool, plenty of space for safe distancing.

Staffs are lovely, when they made up the room, they left a panda made up from towel and some chocolates ... kids were happy, thank you for that :)

This was my first experience in a mandatory quarantine (5 days) dictated by the Indonesian government returning from a trip to Singapore in Feb 2022.
The processing upon arrival to the hotel was minimal and executed by very polite and courteous staff. Although the hotel is 16+ years old it is very well maintained, and the spaciousness of the room (66 m2) was a very welcome feature being unable to leave the room for 5 days.
The menu for pre-ordered meals was extensive and accommodated both western and Asian palates. As well, the quality of food was better than expected for room service conditions.
Finally, given transportation from the airport to the hotel, x2 PCR tests, meals, and laundry were all included in the package, I would rate the overall experience as excellent value.

I stayed here one night to spent my last two days of Raya Holiday. I thought on the date I chose will be a bit quiet, apparently I was wrong. When I arrived, the lobby is crowded with lots of Family crowds. Had to wait around 5 mins, before I can get to do the check in. Check in staff was very nice, he explain everything and also granted my requests. I arrived a little bit early, so my room wasn't available yet, so I decided to walk around in the hotel's vicinity to get some lunch. when my room ready, the staff called me. It's a good thing they contacted me to update.

Location is good, surrounded by several malls.

The room itself is big and clean, though it shows its age. The furniture is a bit outdated. It has all the amenities I need, they even provided masks, hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes. The bathroom is huge, it has bathtub also. The big window right next to the bath tub is the highlight! But my room's bathroom is pretty weird, it has no hot water. At the bath tub the hot water valve seems not working, while at the shower when I turn on the hot water valve, the water didn't come out. Well, since I only spent 1 night here, I was too lazy to report this to the hotel team.

The swimming pool is at 5th floor. To access the pool, I have to make a booking through a website. They have several timing slot. I booked 1 slot for the day I arrive and another 1 slot before I depart. The thing is, though you have to book, some of the visitors are overstayed until they took next slot. If not in pandemic situation, it will be fine, but since it's still pandemic, it made the pool a bit overcrowded. I even canceled at the slot before I depart. I think the staffs need to be more firm on the people's timing.

Breakfast is okay, they move the breakfast to Lobo, since Asia was in disinfected. Selections are mostly asian food, with small choices on western food. Food quality was okay. The omelette was fulfilling! haha.

In general, I was satisfied with this hotel. Great locations, great room size, decent food, complete amenities and facilities. There are rooms to be improved though, such as the hot water valve in my room and the pool usage control.

Hotel has an amazing staff and excellent service. I and my husband stayed in Club room for 3 nights. I got sick during our stay and club lounge staff not only helped me to get my medication, but also provided a complimentary late check-out. During our previous stay we celebrated our anniversary. On arrival we found out that our room was beautifully decorated and there was also a bottle of chilled sparkling wine waiting on the table. Only suggestion we have is regarding breakfast at Asia restaurant: selection and quality should be improved.
We are so grateful to all the Club level staff.

This definitely does not seem like a Ritz property. And the pictures on the website is so misleading. The rooms are dated with upholstery which are dull, faded, greying and stained. The rooms are big but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about the rooms. The towels are bath mats are rough, threadbare and greying as well. This is very unlike the lobby and restaurants which seem to have seen an overhaul and look a lot more modern and chic.

The corridors are musty and the carpet seemed y to o have been changed last in the 90s.

Toiletries are also in these nondescript tubes which are of the cheapest quality.

Does not justify the room charges for sure

I arrived last week to do my quarantine period in The Ritz Carlton in Kuningan. Having looked at the hotel I was excited to enjoy the top levels of service of a 5-star hotel, thus making quarantine somewhat more bearable. This has absolutely NOT been the case. Whilst the hotel/room itself is very nice ( albeit a little dated in furnishings ) the service has been terrible and that’s being generous. All quarantine arrivals have to fill out a menu sheet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specify what time these meals are to be delivered. This has not been observed whatsoever and turns up as and when they feel like it. When I challenged this they said it would be on time but now they leave it outside and not ring the bell to inform me it is there! So at times I’ve had cold food as I have to keep checking outside the door! The standard of food is also extremely poor for what is meant to be 5-star. I’ve had better in a Premier Inn! Overall a very disappointing experience and I’d deter others from choosing to stay here for the quarantine period, unless you have low standards and aren’t bothered of course. Trust me though, with 8 days stuck in a room alone, you’ll find the little things that shouldn’t be happening will start to bug you too! Just forewarning you guys… 😉
