I regretted my stay here. It’s an old dirty hotel. The foyer has cigarette but and food trays not removed for days. AC was not working. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. I had to open the window to get some air. The place need refurbishments and cleaning.
We had a trip to Jkt, for company business. We reserved about 15 rooms, twin share. hotel location is little bit away from the center of the city. The building is remain stay and old, some part need reparation or renovation. But so far, hotel is clean and tidy. Hotel Staff also friendly and quick response. Breakfast meal is also nice for budget hotel like Mega Anggrek. Pool is located on 3rd floor. They have a wide parking area. Very limited rooms equipped with bathtub. You better ask first to Front Office if you required bathtub.
This hotel has a good service, clean room and delicious food. They good at handling complaint for they guests. Near to shopping mall department store, and not too far from the airtport. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank u Mega Anggrek Hotel:)

Please re consider if you want to stay here. The hotel is really old, the room is outdated and smelly. The bathroom is not really clean. The service is really bad, I asked for extra pillow and within 1 hour still waiting. The price is also not cheap considering there are many cheaper hotels with better service and quality. Really regret the decision to stay in this hotel. You have been warned.
Hi all, Im back again to review a hotel in west jakarta, near taman anggrek mall, yap "mega anggrek hotel" Here is the review ; First time i came at 7.30pm there is one staff (security) but he didnt even greet us, only looking on his phone and smoking (outsite hotel), in front of lobby there is another security i think he will opened the door (like other 4 stars hotel) but he didnt even move to open or greet us, he just standing like a statue (arrghh i think i got wrong hotel to stay) And then we come to receptionist, there is plus point for this hotel, he really nice service, inform us any facility what we get. Next we walk to tower 2 that our room on 4th floor, after get out from lift on 4th floor, its really spooky (because there is no one there either visitor nor the staff (room service) and really quiet. Next to our room there is good spacious room, bid enough, and i have bathtub 😁 (plus point) Next day we try the breakfast (there is only fried rice, rice, chicken) no varian like info was written in the breakfast coupon (american, western, chinese and many more) there is only indonesian food Oke skip the chitchat here the score : Service : ** (bad really bad except the receptionist) Food : ** (bad) Room : *** (good and spacious) Facility : ** (dirty pool) Price : **** (cheap for 4th stars hotel) Overall i give this 4th stars hotel : ** (bad) I hope the manager will see this review and will improve their staff manner and food taste Thanks i hope this review will help you guys See you to next hotel review next month…
I’m staying here currently. I decided to give this hotel a try as I needed to be in Jakarta for a short period and be close to one of the hospitals to be with a dying relative. As I’m only staying for 2 nights, I decided that I don’t need the room to be made up. However, tonight after returning from the hospital, realised that tea was never been available and I have ran out of bottled water. I rang the reception to ask for the 2 items only to be received with a very condescending tone, that they couldn’t be replenished because I decided to put dnd sign on!! So much for saving the environment and providing customer service!!! Can’t wait to check out tomorrow morning and put this all behind me!!!
Location is good but the traffic was very heavy. Overall, this old hotel need serious maintenance. The swimming pool not very neat. The breakfast is need a variety menus. But, the most important thing that need a maintenance is the water. It's smelly...
Nice and polite staff at front but the service is very bad. Call service from the room, they rarely pickup the call. I have to go down and request service directly at front desk. "You can wait in your room, my staff will contact you". But no one contact me later. Waste time. Internet connection is very very very poor. You should consider when choose this hotel.
While I couldn't walk anywhere because of the main roads around the hotel, it was in a strategic location for me in the city. There were a few big malls only 5 mins by taxi. The room was good but buried away at the back of the building. The breakfast was light on but it was Ramadan so I expected that. The staff were very helpful.
