I have a bad experience when I book the room. I book a room about a week ago before new years eve. I have a deal with the rceptionist that I booked the deluxe room with bath tube. The hotel actually have a great atmosphere and really show Jogja's culture. It also have a great history and classic ornaments everywhere....

Arriving in Yogjakarta for the first time; is a like a sudden slap. It's a really fast, buzzing hive of activity. Noises, smells and colours. SWARMING Metropolis. And I know Yogjakarta will become (in the near future) one of those 'must visit' destinations, as it has so much to offer the uninitiated... and they're ready for it! Ushered into about...

Because of an increase in rates at another accommodation place, we moved to Indraloka, which was more affordable. When we were deciding where to stay, we had a look at a room which looked stunning. But it wasn't the same as the room we stayed in :-( This homestay has only 16 rooms, and is an old heritage Dutch building....

Loves the hotel and homey feel to it. The menu at 1 cafe is not wide but it is cheap. Get the room on the ground floor as it's spacious and has an ensuite. There's a charming library and terrace upstairs too. Only drawback is that it's a bit too far to walk to the town centre but then again...

What I like about this home stay is the interior, decoration, cleanliness. It is not a big 5 stars hotel of course, but staying in Indraloka is just like staying with your host Javanese family, which they have small house but very neat and clean, comfortable and artistic. These nice and smiley people treat you right. I enjoyed my bedroom...

I stayed in Indraloka twice and I enjoyed it both times. A friend of mine advised me to stay downstairs in one of the superior rooms, as they standard rooms upstairs are very small and ugly. Superior rooms are instead lovely, but there are only three, and two of them have twin beds. One room is in front of the...
