( + ) We stayed for a week here. I love how modern the hotel building is. Also the pool big enough for relaxing and swimming and clean. I love the fact we stayed on the fourth floor and facing the north if you’re lucky you can see Merapi mt. The room is quite quiet. Altho, local tourists mostly woke up early and made a lot of noise at 5/6am at the corridor. By the weekdays, the mosques were not as loud as the weekend. But glad the room kinda soundproof. Love the receptions, the staff, and the food. They always sincerely greet you. Also they speak good english. Many options as five stars hotel for the breakfast. By surroundings you also can find a lot of nice restaurants / bars / street food. For international & domestic tourist it’s perfect location. The hotel rate is also worth it. Well done! Oh ya, the bed is very large (we’re mixed couple, my wife is tall) and the sheets are comfy!
( - ) the airconditioner at 405 makes a lot of noise on high fan (it was even causing me a nightmare) ( - ) It’s weird the staff clean the breakfast 15min before the closing time (not necessary) ( - ) we hate the fact they still use a lot of plastics for a lot of things and dont provide water gallon to refill your bottle instead. The hotel can reduce the plastic waste by providing the water galloon in the lobby / every floor so we dont have to drink from the plastic bottle. a very pleasant stay at prawirotaman gallery. the place is clean, comfortable, all employees work friendly and serve with all their heart because always friendly and smiling. the food is so yummy, there are many western and indonesian menus. It tastes very good, fits, and has many menu variants. the room was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere made me feel at home. thank you for presenting a very recommended place 💕 for the swimming pool is also very comfortable, not too much chlorine so it doesn't make the eyes hurt. basically I am very satisfied to visit and stay here. We have stayed at several more expensive and more luxurious resorts in Jogja but found Gallery Prawirotaman as the best value. Rates are lower than other hotels and yet you get a decent room, good service and breakfast. Yes, there is wear and tear visible and not all is perfect but it's all to be seen in consideration to the rate you pay. Rooms are functional and hot water, AC, etc. is all working well. Small detail but this is one of the very view hotels in this world which got the curtain installation right so you can properly darken your room. Only point of complaint would be the wifi strength which could be better and the flush of the toilets (need to flush several times until tissues disappear). Suggestions to the management: take out from the rooms the single sofa and the round table coming with it. This is a complete waste of space considering the room size and I cannot imagine many guests are using this. There is already a proper desk and chair and nice balcony furniture. And a nicer trashbin in the bathroom would be a small but upgrading touch (the one in the bedroom is very nice). We have a new rain shower in our room which shows that management cares that things are working properly. Plenty of 5 star luxury hotels we stayed have rain showers full of limescale. Must try the spa. Even though location is a bit weird on the incomplete roof top. The therapist Ita is superb. Extremely friendly and professional. Thank you so much! Also Diky and Nunung working in the F&B service are super professional. So nice to see Diky working so efficiently (quite rare in Jogja ;-). Well done all three of them. They all deserve to be acknowledged by management.

I stayed there for 3nights, visited my sister and brother in Jogjakarta. The hotel located in one of the tourism area in Jogjakarta, Prawirotaman. Looks like Legian Bali, for me ^^.
Since the first time I met the staff, all of them always greeted us with smile, from the front office, restaurant, untill house keeping. Lovely! I experienced that ‘till I have to leave.
On the last day, I left an important letter in the room. I contact them to find it, once I arrived in Denpasar. They sent me a swift response, and they asked me to wait, less than 30mnts they informed me the housekeeping team found it! I am happy! Hope they can keep the good service!

Stayed here for 7 nights. The hotel is a really nice, peaceful retreat where the staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised a visit for sunrise at Borobudur Temple that included breakfast and a superb relaxing massage in the hotel spa afterwards. In all, had a great trip and look forward to staying again next time. Special thanks to Dwi my driver who took care of everything on on my trip to Borobudur.

Yogya is the place every one to relax and vacation, Gallery Prawirotama Hotel one of supporting to give good experience in Yogya. The First time i chose this hotel cause located in the central of Yogya and near to Malioboro street and cause not handle by big hotel management so I will get average experience in that hotel. But when I arrived and see the environment i just surprise that with classic design hotel and nice environment i get more that i expected. Good concierge to offer to take our luggage and good waiting area, we like it. With clean swimming pool and good breakfast, All of my family like it and hotel can keep the service. May be need some improvement for Lighting in Room Alley, waiting man in swimming pool and Proactive bell boy to serve the customer who just arrive. The hotel is located in a good location, accessible to the tourism destinations and its family-friendly property.
