My second dive-trip to El Galleon in December 2016 was as good as my first in 2006: Great staff, competent dive-instructors, great people, nice rooms – and food. And The Point bar  The dives are just fantastic. The diving-staff makes the whole dive-experience smooth. For an easy arrival I recommend Airjuan – seaplane from Manila Bay.

I inquired for the seaview room via their mobile number on their website. The response was very quick. On check-in on the same day I asked for a discount as I wanted them to have the advantage of me not booking via the Online Travelagent like Agoda. They gave me 5% discount which I was happy with including breakfast. The...

In july, we went for the second time to this resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The standrooms at the poolside are spacious and clean. They have airco, which is necessary at this time of the year. The open kitchen is located next to the open air restaurant. The french chef works with fresh ingredients, his staff knows...

I have stayed in several placed in Puerto Galera and this hotel suits me best. It is away from all the noise and has great amenities. The food is also very good. The chicken pot pie extra gravy is a must :) The rooms are decent and offer all the amenities you would expect from a quality hotel. Comfortable beds...

This was my first time in the Philippines, and I really enjoyed the El Galleon. The staff were unfailingly polite & helpful, the food was very good, the prices were fair, and the diving was great. The resort is right on the shore, has its own pier & dive facility (operated by the very professional Asia Divers), and the whole...

We just can't resist going back to El Galeon and Asia Divers. In between visits we dive other areas in Asia but nothing beats the diving in PG with these guys. If you love diving then you have got to go with Asia Divers and stay at El Galeon. Oh, and make sure to dive Verde Island - awesome! Thanks...

Room overlooking the dive centre was spacious, cool with a comfy bed. Safe didn't work properly and efforts to fix were lacklustre. Room is cleaned only on request. Shower is cold but not freezing. Hotel only provides tiny bar of soap and a small shampoo squirter, plus two complimentary small bottles of water. Use supermarket in town to buy what...

-Stayed at El Galleon in one of the rooms surrounding the swimming pool for 8 nights. -Transfer organized by the resort from Manila international airport to PG was smooth but back to the airport, had the car driver falling asleep during the 2.5hrs+ drive asking me to let him rest for 10mins on the way before driving again as he...

Hi Winnie, sorry to hear about your stay. Let me give you the take on this, our transportation like most nearly all resorts here in Puerto Galera contract the transport out, both car and boat. You can rest assured we will pass this comment onto our contractor and insist he takes action immediately. Our rooms are cleaned every day, no...

Nice bar with a great view of the ocean. Great drinks list and good bar food too. Our first stop on the island in a huge thunderstorm and they let us sit there for hours as the storm passed. Great service.

El Galeon and Asia Divers is a perfectly pitched mid-range resort that's all about services and convenience. No frills on the facilities and an excellent and diverse kitchen, if you're all about getting on with your holiday and not being interrupted all the time, this place is for you. The dive shop is 30 seconds walk away, there are lots...
