Apulit resort is not cheap for the Philippines. But for me, it was worth every penny for the experience. I woke up, stepped on to my balcony of my water cottage, looked down, and witnessed a small black tip reef shark swimming by. I'll never...More

This resort is worth visiting - as with anywhere there are good and bad points, but overall I would recommend. Great location, friendly staff, good selection of food. We liked our room - sure they are a bit tired but nothing stood out other than...More
As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by Mark, who assisted with us with every part of trip- greeted us at the airport, assisted my parents with every boat transfer, escorted us on the sunrise and sunset boat trip, gave us a tour in...More
Superb service coming from hotel staff from airline to pick up to hotel to the activities. The price you pay may be a bit steep but it includes all food plus activities such as boat tours, snorkeling, rock climbing and rappelling. I can't recommend this...More

I would book the loft,as the main bedroom is upstairs with two day beds downstairs. There is more room in the loft. Plus there are stairs that lead from the balcony to the water, great for snorkelling.

Hi Willy C! Thank you for reaching out to us. We are aware of the Travel Advisory issued by the US Embassy regarding travel to Puerto Princessa in Palawan. We are taking the necessary precautions even if El Nido was not identified in the Travel Advisory.
Our strict security measures continue to be enforced in all our properties in El Nido, Taytay Municipality and the surrounding areas. We maintain an effective unit of security personnel duly licensed by the Philippine National Police. These security personnel are professionally trained, formerly belonging to the Philippine military. They are in charge of monitoring the activities within the resort area, as well as conducting day and night patrols and surveillance activities within the resorts and nearby islands. Security personnel work in shifts, watching over the resort guests and staff on a 24-hour basis. They maintain direct contact with the Philippine National Police Maritime, Philippine Coast Guard detachments in El Nido, the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Western Command, and other resort establishments in northern Palawan. El Nido Resorts’ Crisis Management Team conducts comprehensive emergency response plans that staff are regularly trained on, this allows our crisis teams from our island resorts, private beach clubs, mainland offices and airport facilities to interact during emergency situations.
At our airport facility in El Nido, all land and water vehicles, passengers, baggage and packages are inspected by our security personnel before being allowed entry into our airport premises. Strict pre check-in procedures are also being followed by our airline partner, AirSwift.
Hope this helps. Should you have other concerns or questions regarding our security measures, please feel free to contact our BGC Sales Office
