The only real positive about this resort is the spectacular view of Cadlao Island. That said, because of the illogical design/layout only 2 or 3 rooms enjoy the sea views, with all the others needlessly facing the pool or garden. Now the negatives: 1. Service is bad - slow, inattentive and forgetful. Particularly at reception - having to ask several...

Similar to other reviewers, this place definitiely has its pros and cons. Pros: - Beautiful view from the pool area and restaurant. - Quiet location along Caalan Beach, approx 10-15 mins walk from El Nido town - Lovely manicured gowns - Cooked breakfast available each day with fresh juice and Nespresso coffee - comfortable rooms with a large bed and...

The hotel is super nice with a fair walking distance from the town, the view is amazing BUT... Service was awful. Girls at the reception were not friendly at all. First of all, we sent an email 2 days before arriving so they could arrange a tricycle for us. They forgot about us and we had to take a tricycle...

After 30 hours of travel is hard to believe that a tricycle ride down a dirt road will lead to paradise but it does! This hotel is a little more money than the average one in El Nido but worth it. It's situated on a perfect little spot to watch the sunset and the Island Hopping tours leave from the...

I had an excellent 5-night stay here. The pictures do not do the hotel grounds justice. The interior has well-groomed, lush landscaping that is reminiscent of Hawaii with simple, yet elegant, modern Philipino decor. There are two infinity pools that overlook Cadlao island and Bacuit bay and there was always space to lay out or have a drink. Because there...

After booking this hotel, ahead of our stay we were a bit alarmed at what we were reading in the negative reviews. We can say that we did not experience anything but excellent, helpful service during our stay. Yes, the tips are true that you need to ensure you book the hotel tricycle to ensure you can access the resort...

To venture to El Nido is quite a long journey- approx 6 hours in a van. We stayed a tiny bit further out from the main stretch of town, and we were very glad with our decision. Cadlao offers beautiful views of El Nido Bay Area, especially at breakfast - it was so lovely to wake up and see such...

the resort is beautiful especially garden that is well thought out in every detail with beautiful flowers palm trees and stone decorations. We stayed in the new part, which felt extra luxurious and fresh. The pool was wonderful and a very good place to relax a day before El Nido adventure

Cadlao offers nicely appointed rooms in manicured gardens away from the hustle and bustle of town. The staff are friendly but not especially proactive - if you ask the right questions you'll get the right answers but don't expect too much help. The wifi was very unreliable, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. Be aware that the road...

Positives: Beautiful hotel on the water on Caalan Beach. Was lovely to eat breakfast each day looking at the cliffs and water. Restaurant food was delicious and well priced for the view and the taste! Great service from waitstaff too. The infinity pool was lovely. Booked Tour A with the hotel and it was fantastic. Only ended up being 8...
