We stayed @ the Alpuerto Escapade resort in Sabang for 5 nights. Accomadation was right on the ocean so quiet, peaceful. Food was delicious, catch of the day , rice/noodles ...The people that live in the fishing village, are so happy, beautiful, people ...Howard is the manager, very informative, helpful, up beat, kind of person..We were back packing, which was...

We loved this place. This isn't a luxury resort by any means but sleeping in a nipa hut just meters from the sea and falling asleep to the sound of the waves rolling onto shore was absolutely magical. On top of this the staff were really friendly, the accommodation reasonably priced, it is a short stroll from the bus stop...

Great place to in Sabang. Like mentioned before it is not really a luxurious place as in fancy sjmancy stuff you will see and pay for . Allthough for us budgetbacpackers it actually was a bit more upclass then what were used to. The real luxury in this place is to be found in the peace and quiet you get...

…it is by far not a luxurious place however the most cozy and warm welcome budget stay we’ve experienced during our bike adventure across Palawan. Great thanks to Howard, the complete Alpuerto Escape Team … as well as “little miss sunshine” … made our stay unforgettable. Like promised ... we are coming back for sure!!!

The owner, a remarkable guy from California named Howard, will take care of your every need, be that a cold beer or a nice home-made dinner with a fish that he will personally choose from the village market. The guy is just restless and very...

This place is far from being fancy. It's not a stereotype hotel. There's no staff attending to your every whim, no hot shower, no immaculately white linens, yet I have so many wonderful memories here. We were a group of 20 biologists in the making. We were doing our field work for a course in field biology and it was...
