Once this resort gets renovated, I would then recommend it. The island is quite nice, the food is decent, and the spa is incredible, but this was one of the saddest hotel rooms I had stayed in in quite some time. The room felt like a prison. Though we faced the beach, WE COULD NOT SEE OUT OF THE WINDOWS....

I've been to many resorts around Asia and Dos Palmas did not meet my expectation. The resort looks tired. The bed is hard and air con in the room is very noisy, we can't get restful sleep. The food is just average. Thankfully, all the resort staff I dealt with are efficient and accommodating. Snorkelling is also good. To sum up,...

We stayed in the resort for three days last Sept 17 to 19. Upon arrival at the airport, a van will pick you up and bring you to the pier. The ride will take about 40 minutes. From the pier, a boat will take you to the island in one hour. Construction was ongoing during our visit but it did...

Our son, daughter in law, and grand daughter live in the Philippines, so when we visited there in August 2015, my son booked a four-day family trip to Dos Palmas. What a delightful place! The resort is run with the philosophy of giving the guests a memorable experience. We took off our watches, forgot that there were no cars, no...

The island resort is a good hour away from the main land but that makes the stay even more special. You really feel disconnected from the entire world which allows you to just enjoy the beach and commune with nature.

It's pricey but its worth it. The beaches and all the activities that comes with it snorkeling, kayaking, name it. Its all there. The magnificent view, the white sand and all its surroundings. Its simply paradise. Add the accommodating and friendly staff and its the perfect place for relaxation and fun.

As a single person, this was without a doubt the biggest rip off of time and money I have ever experienced. Perhaps shame-on-me for not doing more research before committing to a 3 day stay. But when I pay such a large amount and the name says "resort" there has to be at least a minimum level of expectations which...

You don't feel like an outcast in that expensive resort because they treat you equally just like how they treat the foreigners. Customer service is very good. They were able to grant us our request which is the nearest room possible to the restaurant and in the upper room. We arrived in the resort around 2PM and the weather was...

We went to Dos Palmas on a recommendation by my cousin, a pediatrician living in Manila. It was the second trip on a 3-resort island hopping adventure my husband and I took in August 2015. Dos Palmas is a beautiful resort with an extremely accommodating staff and a beautiful pool, beach view, and sports center. One of my favorite parts...
