Astoria highly exceeded our expectations. Tbh, I was not expecting it to be this great.
Squeaky clean - I am travelling with kids so cleanliness is on top of my list. The hotel is well maintained, and from time to time there is a personnel mopping the floor to ensure no one will slip at the pool area. The lifeguard is also very alert since there were many kids swimming. I was surprised they have free air drying services for the wet swimwear which is helpful. After 3 hours, all our wet stuffs are dry! How cool is that!
Aesthetic - I love the color white theme with blue and green. The place looks modern, stylish but still relaxing. The place is well kept which I like.
Accommodating - all employees are well trained and professional. The front desk receptionist is very kind. The guard on duty is also helpful and would help us book e-trike to wherever we want to go. Other staffs of housekeeping would also go the extra mile to check if we need new towels, toiletries and they even gave us additional pitcher of water in the room.
Big rooms - we booked the luxury room with 2 queen beds. It is complete with microwave and plates with utensils and dining table. So we had great bonding while dining at our room. We ordered Andok's on the first night and Jollibee on the second night. My kids had a relaxing time while watching netflix.
Good location - since it is between station 1 and 2, restaurants and D'mall are accessible. We arrived in boracay at 1pm and we were very hungry already, so we ate at Nalka on the first day which is just a few steps from the hotel. It is also near Willy's Rock and we had a good swim on station1 beach. Just right in front of the hotel is the meeting place for island hopping which makes it a good location to book activities.
Braids - I like the Ate who made our braids near the hotel. Her booth (pwesto) is on the Havianas store that is only a few steps from the hotel. She is highly skillful and friendly.
Price -Â I would say we had a good deal since kids till 11 yrs old can stay for free. My kids are already 9 yrs old and we had a hard time looking for other hotels since most of the hotels have the age limit of 7 yrs old only. Plus we brought along our yaya, and they allowed us to pay for an extra adult so my yaya will have her own extra bed.
Chill vibe - at night, there are accoustic singers and we had a relaxing swim while listening to music.
Airport transfer - we availed their transfer to make it more convebient for the kids. It was a good decision since everything was hassle free.
Overall, we had a pleasant and near perfect stay in Astoria.

My family and I were looking for a place to stay to fulfill my daughter’s wish as she celebrated her 11th birthday. We were aware it was rainy season (habagat), but we chose Astoria, Station 1, and we have no regrets. We booked ahead of time to take advantage of the rainy day season rates. We inquired and spoke with Ms. Christine Bataga, who suggested we avail of their two-way transportation service to make our lives easier. It was the right decision, making our trip stress-free. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by their airport representatives, transferred to their private speedboat, and then rode in a van to the hotel.
The location is fantastic,it’s beachfront, with easy access to e-bikes on the other side. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff with smiles. The room was spacious, with great amenities, including white rubber slippers that we even requested to take home. Despite some heavy rains, we didn’t worry because they have a wonderful swimming pool right in front of our room where we could still enjoy our day.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety that satisfied all of our cravings. We also tried their dinner buffet, and it was well worth it. Whenever we called for assistance, there was no long wait, all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Now, my husband says that on our next visit, we will definitely choose Astoria, Station 1 again. This won’t be our last stay, see you again, and thank you so much! It’s all worth it,great value, delicious food, and exceptional service!

Pick up at airport, whisked onto boat that speed across to the island and smooth pick up to hotel. So well done , great help with luggage and when it’s time to go back it all works flawlessly
Room was high up and cool with bath and shower Tv had plenty of channels. WiFi was sometimes patchy in room late afternoon, early evening . But good around rest of resort
Lovely helpful staff at check in
Lazing around pool , always a lounger . But the best is the beach and a swim. We think it’s one of the best we’ve ever seen in the world. Clean sand , palm trees , clear seas , NO Plastic ruining it. Yes it’s busy for sunset but that’s because it’s beautiful
Breakfast a lovely choice.
Our ONLY issue with the hotel was main restaurant is to HOT. It’s completely open to the sea which makes the view special , but eating breakfast and feeling hot and bothered is just uncomfortable. There are big air con units , but they’re ineffective
Security guards always friendly. Location is easy for stroll in evening for all the bars

Shower drained very slow floor was flooding . Lingering stinky smell in the room. 4 pax in a room should equal to 4 towels and toiletries; salty adobo, danggit & daing bangus for breakfast salty and kind of not "fresh". Remember foverseas and aged filipinos like to eat these kinds of food. Restaurant services except for some dishes are bery good, friendly caring genuine restaurant staff. Will still recommend to family & friends but make repairs on bathrooms asap

Service is poor. They have a million staff but nobody is there attending to you when you dine (e.g., nobody refills your coffee or take your orders for a mixed drink; nobody goes to the pool area to take orders for drinks). We were also initially booked in a room at the back (we asked to be moved the next day) and it was a sight for sore eyes. The only decent rooms are by the pool and they’re also small and poorly designed. The hotel also faces a pier so there’s really no way to sunbathe/swim unless you want to be mobbed by peddlers or get hit by a banca/boat. Don’t be deceived, this is NOT a 5-star hotel (as advertised). At best, it’s a 3-star hotel masquerading online as something better. If you can afford it, book at the Shangri-La where you have a more private beach/location without all the 3rd-world mob/peddlers.

First of the location is really great, I mean you're right there at the White Sand Beach. Just have your breakfast and walk out directly onto the fabulous beach, it's a WOW beach! The rooms are bright and well equipped with lovely bathroom and very comfortable beds, I find the rooms to be quiet and the cleaning is daily and very thorough. You have to love a clean room. The layout of the Astoria Hotel somewhat around the pool is very pleasant, it spreads the size and number of rooms and its adjacent facilities out in a way that makes the hotel seem smaller and gives it a more nestled and cozy feeling, around the pool is really what it's about as you'll easily spend time in the wonderful central pool that lights up with ambiance lights in the evening and has an adjoining kids pool with slide. You can easily eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel that offers good quality food at very reasonable prices that ticks the value for money box. Now, I've saved my comments about the staff as I have to say that the Astoria Hotel gets a 5 ***** rating for their staff, all the staff are wonderful. From front desk, cleaning, pool, restaurant and management. I'd especially mention Kevin, Creto Kong, Jona, Jaymark and Niel although frankly they're all wonderful and I've never been seen such a desire to serve and satisfy the customer as here, really incredible staff. If you're going to stay in Boracay and looking for a comfortable, clean and satisfying stay then Astoria Boracay will really show you what the filipino welcome Mabuhay means.

Great hotel near station 2 boat dock. Was here Feb 14 2024 with my wife, early arrival at 10AM. booked the honeymoon auite. Room was grreat. Own jacuzzi. Right smack in station 1(2?) beachfront. Food was great. Crew was great, from airport pickup to transport to checkin to checkout. Breakfast buffet was ample kudos to the chef. They hace in room rubber slippers so no need to pack your own slippers. Recommended if you want a hotel near DMall and near all the night life of Boracay.

The service is excellent especially how the staff handles the needs of their guests. Housekeeping personnel and staff are very accomplished. The rooms are well maintained and kept neat at all times during the entire duration of the stay. The rooms are very comfortable to sleep in, keeps one well rested and relaxed during the day’s activities. Housekeeping staff, Honey Boy, is very approachable and accommodating. She is always smiling and keep guests feel that they are at home. Feels like a home away from home kind of vibe. The whole hotel staff, including their on the job trainees are very courteous and friendly to us, their hotel guests.

I'm not sure when were they last renovated, but they all seem pretty newly furnished to me. Not all rooms open to the pool, some are facing the roads and some are just in hallways. All rooms have showers, as far as I could remember.
