M Social Hotel Singapore receives accolades for its intimate ambiance and modern, artistic flair, offering guests a distinctive and inviting stay. Nestled in a prime location, it grants easy access to nearby attractions and transportation, as recognized by numerous guests. While the cozy rooms and spotless environment garner praise, some visitors suggest that the rooms could benefit from better lighting and more premium coffee. The hotel's amenities, including a range of breakfast options, a pool, and a gym, are popular, although there's room for improvement in gym hours and room size. Despite occasional slow service responses, the overall value and attentive staff ensure a pleasant experience.

One turn off to local guests is the lack of parking in the hotel premises because the carpark ownership belongs to another property of the same residence. My recommendation is park alongside of those URA designated parking spaces which is more economical.

The rest of the staying experienced, Fabulous to the max! Trust me, if you’re a tourist in Singapore you are going to find plenty of food and beverage choices ranging from drinking pubs to coffee lovers, Asian cuisine to western menu all at one location, Clark Quay which is not too far away. MRT (local train station) may not be nearby however the breezy walk along the famous Singapore River is a bonus to this hotel which allows you to stroll to most of the tourist locations such as the iconic merlion fountain statue and the Marina Bay view.

Room cleanliness is awesome despite the difficulties during these Covid19 pandemic, they maintained the reputation well of Millenium hotels especially it is already open since 2016. A smart TV is connected and much entertainment programs or Netflix can be chromcast onto the screen.

Design is state of the art, two thumbs up and an experience you have to see for yourself. The only inconveniences first non-local guest is the power sockets are not designed for multi-plug usage nor any USB charging point for your mobile devices.

Overall, awesome experience and I’m returning to this hotel the second time this month.

Booked M Social for a weekend staycation. Heard about the design aesthetic of the hotel and was indeed quite impressed by the modern chic look when you go through the main lobby.

The hotel seems very popular among young couples, which led to a long queue for entry and check-in. However, check-in is pretty efficient and the staff are courteous enough to grant last minute requests and changes. Service by the front desk staff was good!

Booked the Alcove Cosy Room. Room size is small, but is good enough for 2 persons. I’m generally not a fan of hotel rooms where the wash basin is outside the toilet, but it seems to be norm in a lot of boutique hotels nowadays. The overall design of the room is modern and chic. The room was also clean and comfortable, although there were inconsistencies with the towels (we only had big towels and didn’t get any small ones) and the safety kits (my friend’s room didn’t get any).

The pool and gym has to be booked prior to access. However, you would have to go down to the reception to book your access (max 1 person in the gym at one time; not sure about the pool) before going up to the pool/gym area. The pool is of reasonable size, with a view of the river side.

Dinner at Beast & Butterflies was good. The food was great, the ambience was relaxed and the overall service was good. Breakfast was OK, typical breakfast standard, nothing much to shout about though.

There were hits and misses in terms of the service, but what I didn’t really like was how we had to go down to the reception/restaurant to get the things we needed/requested for. For example, we wanted a bucket of ice and a wine bottle opener, and were told to go down to the restaurant to get the ice and bring down the wine to get it opened. I’m not sure if the situation was the same prior to COVID-19 and all the safe distancing measures but, as a hotel, I found it weird and frankly disappointing.

The hotel also does not offer complimentary parking, so those who drive need to take note. Although I’m not too sure if that’s the case for all guests. The Robertson Quay area has chill vibes and there are a lot of eating and drinking options around, so you have quite a lot of options for dining.

Overall, it was an OK stay.

This hotel is comfy and has quite an interesting design. I love the cleanliness of the room. The bathrobe quality is superb and it is really so comfortable to wear.

Breakfast was included in my booking and the food served was fresh as the restaurant manager informed us due to the recent CONVID-19, food is served based on 3 different selections. This arrangement put me and my friend at ease as food is not left in the open especially due this hyper-sensitive period when a sneeze or cough trigger dead stare from anyone around you. Special arrangement and attention to hygiene definitely won me over. This also reduced food contamination and wastage. You also can check out the restaurant using a robot arm to cook sunny side, scrambled egg or omelette. It amazes me.

The room though not huge, it has all the needed amenities like complimentary coffee, various types of tea bags and mineral water in bottles. The hotel also provides the room a kettle for you to boil water if you want something hot. We also venture to do GrabFood after the hotel kitchen closes at 1030pm. The food delivery to the hotel reception is not frown on if you are lazy to walk out to have a bite or supper.

I also explored the hotel at level 5 where it house a small functional and well maintained gym. It also has a small pool that you can swim and take a rest at the poolside to relax or read.

Comparing to Yotel at Orchard, I will prefer this facility as it is cozy and quiet as I felt like I was transported to outskirts of a English town. Of course if you like accessibility to Orchard area, then hotels at the shopping belt may be of your choice.

I was on a work trip when I stayed at M Social and the accommodations were excellent. Though the room was small, the bed, pillows and sheets were so comfortable that it was difficult for me to get up in the morning! The idea of the buffet breakfast with a good selection of veggies, fruits, bread and dimsum motivated me to get out of bed: another plus! Look for the unmanned egg station at breakfast and let the machine cook eggs for you just the way you like it. One more thing: housekeeping requests are likewise granted by an "automated room-service associate," the R2D2-like "Aura."

I stayed at M Social in February 2020 and was very happy with my stay. The hotel is spotless, modern and has very helpful and friendly staff. It is well located, around 5-8 mins walk from Fort Canning MRT station. There are many many bars and restaurants nearby (but no noise from them). The hotel has a decent pool and a small gym both of which I used, both were clean. The hotel is 10 mins walk from China Town, 20 mins walk from the main shopping on Orchard road, 20 walk from the harbour and 20 mins from Raffles Hotel. It is well located by a small river, great for waking, running down. They also provide a shower room after check out, so you can shower before late flights. Overall, highly recommended.

It was a pleasant stay at M Social Hotel. The location was relatively quiet as it was not facing any major roads and the at the back of the hotel is the nice and calm Singapore river. There are a lot of food and cafe options just beside the hotel and it is located in the middle of very popular dining spots visited by expats and locals alike. The check-in and out was very smooth. Although the Alcove Cosy room wasn't the biggest, it was very quiet (with good noise cancellation from the walls) and very comfy. The design of the room and lighting was also very modern, clean-cut and soothing. Would definitely visit again in future! :)

I visited M Social and was thoroughly disappointed in a number of items:
- After checking in, we found that our room was extremely stuffy, very dusty and we could even see food from the previous traveler left behind. So we asked for it to be thoroughly cleaned again. This is VERY shocking and disappointing as I was under the impression that being SG clean, M social would put more effort into disinfecting and sanitizing the room.

- there was no chair in the room despite it being a business hotel and when we asked for one, we were told it was designed to be this way. That’s really inconvenient as we had to work from our beds or floors...

- our door lock spoilt and locked us IN the room, and the next day it locked us OUT because of the battery issue. M social came to fix it immediately so that’s fine, but I think a room like this shouldn’t be rented out until you have fixed the lock because I’m sure it’s not the first or second time it has happened for this room.

Honestly, if it’s just one of the items listed above that happened I would have been okay with it but it was the cumulation of ALL of the above that really pushed me past my tipping point. I hope M social will review their cleaning standards and ensure the rooms are 100% good to go before letting it out.

First i must commend that the interior design looks quite pleasing to the eyes although i did not like that there isn't a sink in the toilet and you must exit the toilet then wash your hands (hygiene issues).

Location is a bit further than expected but still manageable. have lots of nice eateries around the area.

From the start it was not smooth. Wrong info was given from your frontdesk regarding parking. At check-in the receptionist rudely proclaimed that we are supposed to tap the screen and fill in our information in the non responsive check in screen. No assistance was given.

Ironically the package is called "We Welcome, We Care, We Clean", upon checking in, as we settled in, we realise that the fridge was leaking brownish water and had stained the fridge. The outdoor terrace was unmade and had tons of dead leaves and used tissues lying around. The lower floor of the loft had shiny party paper in corners and kitkat wrapper as well. It took me 5 calls to the front desk in order to get my call received. After 3.5 hours the housekeeping team still had not come to my room to clean up.

The night duty manager (Gabrielle i think) was probably the only redeeming point they had in the entire team. She heard my complaints as i personally went down on day 1 to feedback and request for housekeeping to come up pronto, then offered me a different but cheaper executive loft in replacement. however as i needed the terrace and had paid for it i was unwilling and gave them the option of cleaning up which they did (after cleaning there was still shiny party paper in various part of the loft and dirty spots in the fridge). Gabrielle understood our complaints and attempted to remedy the situation. Kudos to Gabrielle.

As we were tidying up our items to check out, i discovered a used condom wrapper near my bed. Which spooked and horrified me. I informed the manager who promised to get back to me regarding this and make it up to me, however till date i have not received any follow up.

This place is worse than a motel and left a dirty taste in my memory. Aside from all the party paper, kitkat wrappers, used tissues i found this used condom wrapper was the tipping stone for sure.

TLDR; happend to be so lucky to check into a super dirty room and management seriously dgaf. stay if you want to pay for dirty rooms and increase your chances of catching diseases. don't count on the service team to do anything

Dear K7159OHsama, We are gutted by your review of our services. Sincerely, this is not the level of service we are usually proud of delivering to each and every guest walking through the door. We have traced back our steps of how we went wrong and necessary changes have been made to address your challenges in order for this situation to never surface again. Thankful for an early check-in as the room was ready for me. Check-in process was pretty quick but I think that the level of customer service can be a little better? Staff can be a little friendlier actually, especially when I called the front desk for housekeeping, I felt that the attitude was a little cold? Room was overall clean but my main gripe about the room was that 3 of my sockets were spoilt (the plastic protections were coming off the wall) and that doesn’t feel (electrically) safe for any guest I would think. Told one of the ladies at the front desk when I checked out and nothing much was done to assure me except an apology and that “we will check it out”.

Other than that, it was an overall good stay.

Great ambience and comfy sheets. Booking through the hotels website, I got the cocktail + breakfast and stay option. Cocktail making lesson was fun and taught by the bartender Vald at its restaurant, Beast and Butterflies. With a complimentary pair of cocktails, it was an excellent start to the Staycation.

I booked the Alcove Cosy Room. At 14 sq meters, the room was not too claustrophobic yet cosy with a queen size bed that could fair fit 2 pax. Toilet was particularly small with the basin outside. Amenities of the room, thou standard was sufficient and clean. Despite the latter and the cosiness of the room, the room appeared to have mild stains on its wall, curtain and hair on some areas of the carpeted floor. The toilet had slightly rusty hinges. Nevertheless, the room was clean and tidy.

Even with COVID restrictions, there was ala carte buffet breakfast from 6.30 to 10.30am, which consisted of a small menu with some warm and delectable offers. I'd recommend the Nasi Lemak and the cheese omellete - as one of the more warmer things on the menu. However, inexperienced staff made the breakfast slightly a bad one as one of our orders did not came as what we expected (ordered Nasi Lemak and some American menu items to be only greeted by white rice, sambal and the American menu items). Coffee was average and Tea served came with the paper and string in the tea. Nevertheless, service was warm and prompt, which was great at the least.

M Social is a great, comfy hotel for a weekend Staycation abelt it's inconsistent service quality between its hotel and restaurant.
