We booked their Alcove cosy room for 8 days and on my first night... my room was flooding, not extreme flooding but the water from the bathroom was leaking to the bedroom. Upon checking in, I checked the room and there was no water (usually complimentary). The room was a little small and seemed dusty. I advised reception regarding my room and they sent an 'engineer' to check my room ... however it was so blase and the engineer said that I had to move rooms.. quite obvious as my floor was wet. After speaking with reception I was advised that someone would be there to assist with my luggage etc... they came 40 minutes later and I had to follow up. Please note, this occurred during 10:40pm to 11:50pm.. you can imagine how exhausted I was. We were moved to a different room and to my surprise there was free water ( how come they didnt offer this before?) the room was okay but the toilet needed some TLC. I'm just a little confused about the water situation, it felt like my first room was left in a mess? was the room previously not used due to water issues? FYI - in most cases and with other hotels, rooms that have water issues, usually guarantee an apology or something to 'make up' for the mishap. Staff were very nice and friendly, just unsure about their offerings to guests who experience this kind of issue. I definitely won't be staying here again.. it was too late for us to transfer to a different hotel and we would have forked out an extra 2.5k. Please see photos, imagine the moulds under the carpet, this was the starting to dry up. When it started leaking.. it covered my feet.…
Stayed here in May 2021 in the midst of Covid. Despite the busy day, the front office staff Shafiq never fail to cheer our day up with his friendly persona and even offered us late check out. His attention to detail is a plus point. Breakfast was delicious though it was done in a takeaway mode. Will be looking forward to our stay here real soon!
Great experience overall, just didn’t get 5 as breakfast was fairly average (boring) - and room very small, but in hindsight we should have booked the loft room as there 5 days. The location of the hotel is stunning on the river and very green. Pool lovely. Very easy to get about SIngapore using Grab and although a bit of a walk to the underground, it’s pretty along the river.
Friendly staff upon check in by staff name Zleena. Nice ambience and cozy lobby I would say. Walking distance from Blue line MRT station Fort canning roughly about 15 mins or less. Cafe at ground floor and it have express checkout.
Long queue when registering guest as there’s only 2 counters open and 2 other closed Room is pretty bad in cleanliness with foil on the floor, stain in the fridge, multiple flies in the toilet and musky smell in room. Switch casing came off which is extremely dangerous.
Stayed here just overnight but enjoyed our stay. We checked in very late in the night and requested for late check out and was granted. Didn’t manage to get his name but the front desk male staff who assisted us (who had the same birthday as me) was very friendly. We went for breakfast the next morning and it seemed as though the timing told to us was incorrect as there were still people coming in after 0930 when we were told that it was till 0930. Automated omelette machine was very busy and you might have to wait for abit for your turn. Bathroom is alittle small. Location wise, it was slightly far from public transportation but we loved the neighborhood and it’s proximity of being near to so many cafe / restaurants. Tip: Try to avoid peak check in / check out times as it may get quite busy.…
We bought the package for stay in Alcove Cosy Room via klook that comes with perfume making workshop by Maison 21G. Workshop was held in the hotel's small function room with 2 couples per session, it was fun smelling out the available scents and curating a scent we like. Check-in was a breeze as we had arrived rather early but snaking queue started forming around 3pm. Room wise was rather small with 2 single beds and 2 pillows but was rather soft. The sink with mirror + TV in just right in front of the bed which makes it a little uncomfortable during sleep. Bathroom has a window of sorts that looks through to room but can be easily shut off with the blinds. Individual toiletries and towels are provided. Breakfast was inclusive and we decided to do a takeaway instead as restaurant was rather packed due to the weekend. Area is not near any train stations, nearest is approximately 15-20min walk however, there are multiple eateries such as Italian restaurants nearby that one can easily visit. Beast & Butterflies located in the hotel has pretty decent spread but is on the pricier end and sadly has no discounts for in-house guest. Hotel does not provide birthday amenities too.…
Everything is good, from check in to check out. The hotel room is quite clean, amenities are provided, Had some small defects with the AC and LeongSan who is working on night shift responded and attend to the issue very swiftly. LeongSan is the most courteous, patient and helpful staff I have ever met. He is always paying attention to his customers. Even the most subtle gesture will send him coming your way to assist. He shows perfect personality, cheerfulness and charisma, and always providing great suggestions to his customers to fulfil their needs and likings.M social is really fortunate having such a dedicated staff like him , and we will definitely recommend M social to all our families and friend to this hotel.
Staff at the front desk Jun Song and Leong san was extremely helpful and friendly hence making the stay more enjoyable! It was for my birthday and we were offered little surprises like complimentary Macarons. Would visit again for sure.
The room was spacious and neatly cleaned, Vivian the room service was very professional , helpful and the best in her work. Also the staff was polite and helpful. The place in near by the river and has many good restaurants nearby. The gym and the pool area was also nice
