Stayed here for 4 nights on a budget. Knowing Singapore, it’s one of the most expensive countries in the world! Lol. So, we’d rather save up on a hotel instead. 😉 Pros: ✅ Location - Nearby conveninece stores / fast food and other restaurants, plus MRT Lavender station and bus stops. ✅ Breakfast - though limited selection, their menu changes everyday, and it’s a buffet (unlike other 3-star budget hotels)! Pls dont expect that it serves different cuisines though. ✅ Request for make-up room everyday and change of towels were always done, thank you! ✅ Polite and friendly staff. CONS: - As expected, small rooms. But the bed was comfy to sleep on and the AC works perfectly fine and can easily be adjusted to ur preferred room temp. - NO toilet bidet and bathroom slippers. 😞 - They’d only provide disposable toothbrush, towels and a foot towel. So bring your own toiletries! We did, so no big deal for us. - I just hope they also have separate shower area or a floor barrier between the toilet and the shower, at the least, so the water will not spread throughout the bathroom floor. - No complimentary and disposable room slippers provided/included in the room. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Good thing we always brought our own. 😉

Dear Donzgel, Thank you for your strong endorsement for ibis budget Imperial. The Hotel Team really appreciates your detailed and helpful review of your stay with us. We are pleased to hear that you have enjoyed our convenient location, good housekeeping and lovely breakfast. Our breakfast menu may not be of an international cuisine, but many guests had the opportunity to sample our local and Asian buffet-style food, which offers great value. Slippers are available upon request from my colleagues at the Front Desk. However, we hope that our guests can join us in our efforts to reduce single use products. Your recommendation for a bidet has been submitted to our management for their review and consideration. We hope you had a great time touring Singapore and look forward to welcoming you back soon! Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

I’m grateful to the other reviews for giving an accurate picture of the hotel. Its main benefit was great proximity to the MRT and local food stalls - two of the most important features for a Singapore budget traveller. The pool was nice and good for swimming lengths, although there were just a few upright outdoor chairs and a table beside it so not really a place to sunbathe afterwards. The mattresses were quite hard and the corridors noisy with the heavy doors slamming but I actually slept quite well. On the upside, the fridge and aircon were quiet as were the surrounding streets and the curtains were nice and dark. The downside was the demon-possessed shower - after 20 hours of travelling I couldn’t wait but the first time it leapt around and blasted me in the face then drenched the room. It was all good if you held it with one hand - or I hear from my kids - were very tall or very small. The breakfast buffet was definitely more suited to Asian tastes but was very varied and we always had enough to eat. The hotel staff were friendly.

The hotel is neat. the breakfast menu is good. the food is delicious. We chose a room without a window. Apparently, that's why we made a mistake. It was hot without air conditioning. When we turned on the air conditioner, it was too cold. That's why he didn't sleep well. Maybe everything would be better if we had chosen another room.

Even though it's a budget hotel, the breakfast was hearty and delicious. The staffs were also very helpful. Exploring the neighborhood was a breeze due to its close proximity to supermarkets, hawker centers and most especially, MRT. Kampomg Glam can also be reached by foot.

Location is very good, a few minutes walk to Lavender which is well connected on the metro for all the tourist sites and the airport, as well as about 10 mins walk the other way to another Merto line which is also well connected for Charles Quay etc. staff very helpful (airline had lost my luggage so the staff were helpful in receiving this when it caught up with me) and rooms were to the standard and commodity you expect for and Ibis Budget. Rooms tidy and clean and bedding and towels in good condition.

Dear sharmanik1992, Our check-in times are in line with the international hotel standard of 3pm. As our hotel runs on full capacity regularly, our Housekeeping Team is working tirelessly to clean the rooms, which is thereafter inspected by our Housekeeping Supervisor before assigning them to our guests. We seek your understanding in this matter. Our Front Desk colleagues would gladly allow guests to check in earlier if there were rooms available. Your recommendation for a bidet has been submitted to our management for their review and consideration. Thank you for staying with us. Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

Avoid them if you can help. Them swimming pool and the location is good, but they will OVERCHARGE you!!! I stayed at the hotel in November for 4 days (from 13-17th of november, booked through booking.com) and despite the fact that they charged my card in advance for 1 night months earlier they made me pay for the 4 full nights with a vague promise that they will send back the 1 night they charged earlier. And guess what I am yet waiting for that to happen. And since another Ibis hotel in Singapore (Ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay) refuse to send back my money as well for 3 months now I think this is the norm with Ibis which is completely unacceptable! Find another hotel with better customer care if you can. I think the only thing I can do now if this issues won't be solved very soon is start a chargeback against Ibis. If you don't want to deal with this king of things avoid them.

The worst hotel I've ever been on my entire life! My expectation for this hotel as part of an Accor chain of hotels is far beyond and way low! I am an Accor Plus Member but this hotel failed already my perception! Although this hotel is just a 3 star, this is way way far than other 3 stars hotel I stayed before! I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone! Not worth it for the price we've paid for! 251.60 SGD for 2 nights, that was unacceptable! 1. No pre - arrival information for the guests. 2. Upon receiving the room, left over milk tea from previous guest was inside minibar. Unsure how many day/s it was there. 3. Poor cleanliness. As part of Stay Safe Program in Singapore or rated as Singapore Clean, this is hotel should not be qualified. 4. Long waiting hours for room service. It took 45 minutes to deliver iron and iron board. A follow - up to Reception Area was made before the request being delivered to the room. 5. Unfriendly staffs. No sense of customer service or sense of arrival. 6. Poor breakfast selection for the prices you paid for. 7. No make up room has been done during our stay. Left the room in the morning (around 10:30 a.m.) and came back to the room in the afternoon (around 15:00 p.m.) surprisingly our room is still undone for Make Up. 8. Basic bathroom amenities. 9. Upon check - out, no one informed us to wait for a couple of minutes to re - check the room. This is not a standard check - out policy of a hotel. 10. No manager came to apologize or meet us when complaint was raised!

Dear Guest, We are disappointed to hear of your less than satisfactory stay experience. We assure you that your feedback will be reviewed and most certainly forwarded to the appropriate departments. This is not reflective of our usual hotel standards as we have received numerous compliments for our service. Room rates have risen in recent months due to an increase in manpower cost, electricity and laundry costs. Our rooms remain very competitively priced in our market segment. Please consider booking an Accor luxury hotel instead of a BUDGET hotel in your next stay in Singapore. I am sure it will be better suited to your needs and expectations. Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

I had to arrive in Singapore on 2nd October 2022 for a business trip, which happened to be the day of the Singapore F1 race, which meant that all hotels were regretting bookings. The Ibis Budget Singapore Imperial Hotel found me a room, saved my business trip and for that, I thank them from the bottom of my heart. The hotel is located at 5 min walking distance from Lavender MRT station and 30 min walking distance from Mustafa Centre, Little India. The shopping complex adjacent to the MRT station provides all day-to-day necessities. This makes it a good choice for Indian visitors to Singapore - whether business or personal. The hotel staff, including the staff in the attached restaurant, is extremely courteous and well mannered. For vegetarians like me, there is only one issue. The restaurant serves vegetarian dishes only in breakfast - for other meals one may have to go as far as Little India. All-in-all, it was a good experience.
