Recently my husband and I stayed at the hotel and find that the hotel is located at a good location with the bus stop right in front of the hotel. Bus No. 130 or 145. Next to it is a food court where you can catch a bite. The receptionist is friendly. Though the room is not big but it's good for a night stay. I would recommend this place. Linda

Before I made a prepaid, advance booking on my account with agoda at Fragrance Hotel Oasis for 2 of my visitors (male, not a couple), i called the property and they assured me that i could book a room with a window and 2 single beds since my booking was 2 mths away and that all i had to do was to put it in the request section and the hotel would manage it. this was not the case upon arrival. the hotel promised that my guests would be moved to the correct room on day 2 but for day 1, they would have to stay in a tiny room with no windows. Day 2 was worse. they were shown to a room with a big bed that had a divider in between. My guests were terribly upset. Hotel maintained that nothing else could be done. they REFUSED to refund the rest of the 7 day stay, citing policy etc. Agoda was no help either. Fragrance even got my guests to sign a waiver that was not in their native language and which was not clearly explained to them and in it, was a clause for refund which the hotel staff glazed over despite my guests telling them that they want a refund and despite me having already spoken to the hotel staff and written to agoda insisting on a refund. Fragrance conveniently informed me that "your guests did not select the refund". Such underhandedness is unacceptable and i have instructed Agoda to delete my account with them.…

As our hotel runs on near full capacity regularly, it was highly likely that all available rooms with double beds had already been assigned out during the time of your check-in. Standard rooms do not have windows and this is indicated in the booking platform. If you require a window, please book a Superior or Deluxe room at a nominally higher rate. Stayed for 2 nights. We encountered 4 staff in total during our stay and they were all courteous and helpful. Really appreciated them greeting us whenever we passed by the reception. We booked a room with windows and got a room at level 6 facing the road. The room is definitely small and the layout a bit weird but it is nothing major. The room and furniture were clean although I found some yellowish stains on the comforter. Could not sleep well on the first night since I am not used to the spring bed. But I was able to have a good 6-7 hours of sleep on my second night after a tiring day at Macritchie. Like other reviewers pointed out, there is no segregation of dry and wet areas in the bathroom. Once you shower, everything will turn wet. There is also no hooks in the shower for you to hang your clothes, but don't bother since your clothes are highly likely to get wet. The good thing is, the toilet dries really quick. Overall, this is a no frills budget hotel. The price is really reasonable, the location is good with a bus stop and food all around. I am happy with my stay. If I were to do a staycation at balestier again, I definitely would like to be back!…

Price: affordable, budget hotel Location: perfect for backpackers, walking distance to several landmarks, hawker center (Baliester Market), City Square and Mustafa Mall. Few steps from the Bus Stop. Staffs: friendly and accommodating, 24/7 reception Cleanliness: clean hotel, daily housekeeping Room: occupied twin room (2 single beds), towels and basic toiletries are provided, coffee, tea and bottled water are included in the room, as well as electric water boiler.

Fragrance (Oasis) has given me a very pleasant stay and made me felt I have made the wise choice in choosing it to be my accommodation. Rates were very good too ! Room were clean and well equipped for daily stay. Aircon is good with strong water pressure hot showers. The reception personnel have made me felt at home every time when I return to the hotel. Very very convenient location too with a bus stop just right beside the entrance that provide buses to various locations in SG. Superb ! I will only return to Fragrance Oasis in future and recommend others to consider Fragrance Oasis !

There are 24hrs convenience stores, not to mention a 24hrs food court serving local delights for hungry diners. Eateries are aplenty in this area, which guests should not miss sampling Chicken Rice and Bak Kut Teh (Pork RIbs Soup) during their stay here. Just a stone's throw away is a bus stop where guests can board a bus service to places such as Bugis Street, Central Business District, HarbourFront and VivoCity Malls. Additionally, guests can also hop onto a bus and head to the nearby Novena MRT Station for travel to the various parts of Singapore. This is the 3rd times I booked Fragrance Oasis. It's a good alternative who need a clean & comfort place to stay with low budget. Bus stop is just in front of the door which make us easy to travel anywhere. Excelent!

I spent two nights as a single at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Marc at the front desk helped with directions, bus routes, airport transportation, and dining suggestions. He could not have been more helpful. The location is great for public transportation and nearby activities. As a single traveler the room was safe, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Singapore.

I have all reasons to recommend Fragrance Oasis as once of the best budget hotel at Singapore There’s a bus station directly in front of the hotel entrance. Novena MRT is approx 15mins stay away In terms of food choices, Balestier foodcourt is immediately beside the hotel The rooms and toilet are indeed small but this is really what you can expect with the budget price tag. Rooms are nevertheless clean and the bed is comfortable Overall a pretty good stay and definitely a good choice for budget travellers
