We stayed in a double bed dorm, there were about 7 people also staying in this room with only one bathroom so we had a wait a while in the mornings. Breakfast was included, but very simple and not enough space for everyone to sit. Good location, a short walk to the metro station. Washing machines provided but quite expensive.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Cool co-travelers. Nice location to stay. More closer to Rochor station MRT. But there is no lift. Nice breakfast. We had been allotted to use shared bathroom. But there is no lift.

The hotel was in good location, inside the beautiful Little India. It was my first time to booked with dormitory type of hotel. But i was not not happy because of the noise of some travelers and you cannot rest well. Anyways, most of the time i was outside for my solo tour.

Bathroom, washrooms, and living rooms are clean and well maintained no complain about it, washing machine also there but chargeble. best is hostel location you will get very good only veg restaurant named GOPAL and mix veg non veg just few meter away from Gopal. near by MRT is ferrar park and just opposite of hostel you will get bus option which will take you to vivo city for santosa.

Accidently booked 4 night women dormitory with clearly male names. Denied sleeping here for 4 nights and not compensated/ all money lost(200$).
No compensation and no manager to talk to.
Very poor customer service and izham the receptionist tried but still 200$ down and no action. Very poor customer service, dormitory also very small and almost no space to change cloths but bathroom not terrible. Little India offeres cheaper private rooms with more space and better service. Don't go to this hostal!

Response from Seven Wonders, General Manager at 7 Wonders Hostel

Dear Kai Hofer (kaisU7182UZ) Thank you for your review regarding your stay at our hostel. Each guest feedback is important to us and we appreciate your input-on ways to serve you and other guest better. I understand how frustrating this experience must have been for you. We sincerely apologized for not meeting your service expectation and inconvenienced cause during your stay. We have every desire to address your needs and provide the best solution available to resolve your issues as possible as we can from the first day until your last day stay. After reviewing this reservation with the online travel platform you made the booking, there is no system glitches and the reservation is correct which you have chosen 2 beds in a female sharing room. We did send a message dated 29th July 2023 asking for the gender of the guests but no response receive at your end. Please take note that the booking you made is strictly non-refundable and non-amendment from the online travel site. If this incident is a glitch at our part or we do have an available mixed sharing room we will definitely amend this for you. Beside from 29th July message, I have also sent you messages last night 06th August 2023 with regards to your concerns with an option to offer you as I currently out of office and unable to be reach via phone. The entire team take their roles in our industry very seriously and try, every day, to provide that quality customer service, that our guests expect however, you are not happy with it as you insist for a refund or change date of stay which cannot be honour. Beside from not being convinced with the options, you take photo of our staff which by right is a violation of personal privacy. Staff on duty Izham did his best to re-arrange your reservation however, only for the 1 night can be able to accommodate you in a mixed sharing room and yes, he also informed me on this and I advised him that we have another 1 night to accommodate your booking at our other outlet the following day but the 2 nights we really cannot be able to amend to another dates or do a refund. We seek your kind understanding that we are following the reservation policy of the online travel site and we also want to be fair with all our guest as well. We also have limitations in honouring guest request most especially if the inconvenience caused is not from our property. Again, I am sorry that you weren’t able to fully enjoy your stay with us and most especially unable to meet your service standard. Thank you! Sincerely, May Senior Hostel Manager

In first sight it looked appealing. Quickly, we've been completely disappointed. The capsules concept looks good but it's too small, even though you're just travelling with a backpack you'll need to sleep with it because the only locker you've got is tiny.

First of all, we arrived 30 minutes before the check-in time. Ok you can check-in but you must PAID 5$.

Second, we needed an adaptator. They have a lot and we asked if we can borrowed one. No, you must PAID. 2,50$

Third, we bought some fruits outside like we do often and we asked for a knife and a plate. Impossible because you can't eat in the room (we understand this), you can't bring your own food downstairs because it's only a restaurant. So there is no place to rest, speak and meet others backpackers, is it this a hostel ???

Fourth and certainly the worst of all. We took the lower bunk because it was free when we arrived in the room. The 2nd night, after one day outside, we came back at midnight and directly at the reception the manager shout on us telling it's not normal to have taken the lower bunk because a guest is coming soon and he only want the lower one. So a staff came with us to the room and stayed there until we changed to the upper bunk. And guess what, NOBODY came !!! The lower bunk stayed free.

Breakfast is finished at 9.30am. First morning one guy came at 9.32, he only got a cup of tee...

Location is ok but not exceptional.

We're travelling for many months now and it's the worst place where we've been by far.

Dear Clement Rosse, Here are the list of tantrums you showed while staying in 7 Wonders Hostel & Cafe. - Creating a scene at the Reception area demanded an early check in though it was clearly stated 3 pm is the check in timing. - 2 Pin and 3 Pin Adapters are being sold by us at the reception area. Insist and demanded to be provided to you for free. - Being obvious that its a Cafe, brought your own food to eat in the Cafe. And demanded to be provided with our Cafe's Plate, fork, spoon and Knife. - Was allocated with a Top Queen bed. Chose to sleep in the bottom Queen bed. Tired incoming guest for that bed had to be shifted elsewhere. Threw a tantrum that the bed was initially empty so you 'had the choice' to sleep on the bottom bed. - The breakfast timing is from 7.30am to 9.30am. You complained that it should end later to cater to your needs. - A welcome mineral water is provided upon check-in. Insist that you should be provided with a free one everyday. -Finally, check out time is clearly stated at 11.30am. Chose to check-out at 11.50am. Extremely rude to my Staffs. Favorite Quotes of yours throughout the stay will be "I dont care", "This is ridiculous" and "So what!" As Such, I, Shahjahan, the Director of 7 Wonders Hostel & Cafe is deeply apologetic of my General Manager being unfriendly to you. Happy Travels and Thank You.

I stayed twice in this hostel. I am a solo traveller and i really liked the capsule concept. One can have their privacy and sleep well without any lights and disturbance. The bathroom were clean and the room were clean as well.
I would like to give a suggestion that if someone is staying for long time you should change the bed sheet once or twice. Its not a complain though.
The receptionist was nice and all the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. I really had a good time here. Cheap and good service.
At the end i would like to apologize with the receptionist. I order the shuttle service to airport but i went out without informing her. I was in hurry and I didn’t saw her around. Sry

If your itinerary in Singapore is packed and you're not planning to hang around the hostel that much, then this would be a good place. This hostel overall is pretty basic -- capsule bed, toilet, and shower cubicles, and breakfast inclusion.

Do note that there is no common room or area that is available except for the sofa in front of the reception and some chairs and tables in the eating area. Breakfast options are very basic too - toast with a few spread options and some sort of chocolate flakes cereal.

As for the capsule pod, it has a small fold-in table, one light (which was not situated at the middle of the bed but more to the head of the bed) with switch, and 2 wall plugs.

Big luggage can be stored in their luggage room. The locker/compartment is located underneath the bed. Also, note that the compartment can only fit 1 single carry-on luggage. Anything bigger needs to be stored in the luggage room.

As for the bathroom situation, it is not segregated by males and females. It is shared among both genders. This was not a big issue for me, as for every time I'm in the bathroom, there weren't many people using it. There are washer and dryer machines by the bathroom area if you need to do some laundry. The machines are operated by coins. Which I think was about 4 dollars per wash.

To get to the higher levels, there are stairs and an elevator. Air cond was set in fairly good temperature. Not so warm and yet not so cold.

Throughout my trip to Singapore I only came back to the hostel by nighttime, so for them not having a dedicated common/activity area was not a problem for me.

Overall, it was a good stay.

This is a budget hostel, with a bed in a dorm around £25 per night. I liked the sound of having your own "capsule" for privacy, but in reality this blocks off the air con and it gets far too hot. Considering the amount of people in a room, the air con was very insufficient. You won't get more than a small back pack in the locker provided. That said, staff were friendly and it was nice to have breakfast provided. However, if you can afford better then I would not recommend this place - the capsule was too hot and I couldn't sleep.
