This is such an old hotel which look tired and run-downed. The room was cramped, hard mattress and the sheet looked dirty. Don't let me describe the bathroom. It shouldn't have bathtub considering the tiny space inside. The only good thing was just the wifi. Location isn't that good either. Better find somewhere else to stay

This hotel was great. Situated in Geylang, so not too far away from all the main attractions. The rooms were clean, and cleaned daily. There is a mini bar, nice hot shower, comfortable bed, free toiletries/tea/coffee and the reception staff were always friendly and helpful. I would happily stay here again!

We have travelled a lot but first time to Singapore. If you are looking for a low budget, very clean hotel, look no further. Only problem is that rooms are small so if you are here for a week or less, this is the place. The hotel is run by people who go out their way to help you in any way they can.I...

Great hotel. Loved staying here. Not an enormous amount of space but that was to be expected for such a low price. Easy access to MRT and many wonderful curry restaurants etc quite nearby. Aljunied is a really interesting area of Singapore . Have already booked another stay

This hotel is a great choice when all you want is somewhere to stay. Singapore has plenty of choices for eating out, why eat at your hotel? Why pay for stuff you don't need. At the hotel 34 you get a clean room, clean bathroom/shower, and a vending machine with drinks, and free WiFi. And that's it!. Also, the staff...

Good place to go for low budget. We spend 47€ per night during Chinese New Year, for hight season a really reasonable price. Access to 2 metro lines via station Aljunied and Mountbatten, both just 10minutes walking distance away. Room quality is normal, everything looks already used but it is clean. Room size is small but with window. Stuff is...

For those who just to have a room to sleep and careless about location and service, then this hotel will be a good place to stopover... it's nothing much to do.. Walking distance from tge MRT station.

Staff were old guys but very friendly. Early check in was allowed, no cafe or restaurant only vendo machine for softdrinks. Location was good as it is close to guillemard bus station and almujeid mrt station. It has hair blower, window views weren't nice. Cr didn't have locks, elevator and hallways are so narrow. Overall it was fair.

Would like to express greatest gratitude to MS Eric Foo for his excellent sincere personal gesture as in helping checking in as a return guest at Hotel 34 Geylang Lorong 22 dated 12th July 2015. Being a responsible front desk going extra mile in delivering back without any signs of frustration and she accomodate me and most important without asking...

Staying in Geylang

Neighbourhood Profile
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city centre, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colourful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
